Winning Position: No
Having met, befriended, argued with, and loved atheists before I am coming to the conclusion that it is TRUE that the MAJORITY of Atheists out there are ass-holes. I've had MANY friends that are atheists, I've had a boyfriend who's an atheists, and I have had enemies who are atheists as well. And so far, the more I explore into the community, the more I'm getting the immpression that the vast majority are jerks.
Is this occurance strange or common to other people.
Winning Position: Stupidty is funny
"Your methods are stupid!
Your progress has been stupid!!
Your intelligence is stupid!!!" - Gir, Invader Zim
How would you argue?
Are you one to stoop down to the level?
Are you one to rebute your stupidity?
Are you one to ignore the stupidity of one claiming your stupidty?
How would you answer?
Winning Position: Yes!
I've alwasy found it funny how other people don't seem to like their churchs very much: I've always loved my church.
I enjoy my church becasue of how non-judgemental they are to it's members; there is none of that chruch gossip, nor do we shun people for 'shamful' acts.
I also enjoy it becasue of our Pastor: he's the type of preacher who really does know what he's talking about, and is able to get a message across perfectly clearly. I also like how he doesn't only preach things that will make the congregation happy: he really tries to get as much truth across without mixing it with popularity.
I further love my chruch becasue they actually are/feel like a second family, who gives support for each other as much as possible (Work in our community as WELL as inside the church itself)
I never got the immpression of those boring churches that you ussually think of.
So, if you go to a church, how do YOU enjoy it?
Winning Position: Actions
Although actions SPEAK louder than words: sometimes wouldn't the thoughts despite the actions be more immortant?
People can pretend to be anything they want.
They can do GOOD things, but if their thoughts are horrible, wouldn't it be more serious to think of the person's mindset and thought process than simply what they choose to show you?
Winning Position: Phycological
It has already been determined that the idea of race has NO biological nor genetic evidence.
Race does not exist in the physical realm.

But that leaves the question of whether or not it is social or phycological. Maybe both. It CAN be a phycological thing becasue even as children where we have people who aren't even aware of racial prejudice can sense differences between themselves and others. but it is possible that it is Social becasue, what makes them notice the difference in the first place? Becasue children might not be used to see other features if they aren't around others (if their family has the same skin color range?).
What do you think?
