If Agnosticism, Why Not Theism?
Agnosticism is in a state that believes in the end, one cannot know for certain if there is a God or not and, **however** there is knowledge to be gained; to understand to learn via science and reason and understanding, for yourself to comprehend. Theism in a state that has **faith** in what they **believe**, with **reason**, **knowledge**, via **science and faith**, there is knowledge to be gained, for yourself to comprehend. If you can grasp it, agnosticism aand theism is **not** far from each other. Faith is the only thing that seperates the two. Define faith. Faith/Belief in **what**? Both sides state, with reason (evidence), logic (rational), and knowledge (mankinds' curiousity), they essentially say "this is how it is." Agnostics say "This is how it is, we believe, though we cannot know for certain." Theists, generally say, "This is how it is, we believe, and we know some for certain, and some for not certain."
An **Agnostic** states that their **knoweldge**, that is what they believe to be "truth", is **truth**. Even though they state, we cannot know if what I know is **ultimate truth**, therefore, **who knows**"?
A **Theist** states that their **knowledge**, that is what they believe to be "truth", is **truth**. Even though they state, what we know is **truth**, yet one cannot without a doubt state **their belief is ultimate truth**, therefore, **believe if you so choose, if not so be it**. There are similarities and there are minor differences.
In short, agnostics claim even though they claim something, they're not sure what is truth, yet claim truths. - OR - X, Y, Z. In short, atheists claim even though they claim something, they're sure what is truth, yet are assumed to **not** examine other truths. - OR - X, Y, Z. It seems to be that both agnostics, and theists, OUGHT to combine their **beliefs** together, but they **compliment each other** so well and are similar in philosophic belief, yet minority distant, in reality**
