Oh no, did I ask the great question that atheists can't stand to hear? Perhaps the negative position may be that the term "atheism" is incorrect? The argument that a person cannot be a christian because of his or her flaws is also quite weak. Christianity will stand the test of time as God is the one and the only. Scientists make scientific errors all of the time. Jesus Christ has never made a mistake and prophecies in the Bible have been and are still being fulfilled today. God has been a gracious Father to provide both the atheist and christian the solid evidence of His truth.
Yes im bored.
Im talking about REAL satanism not angsty teen cut yourself in rebellion to got shit. As in, LaVeyan or Theistic. The philosophy behind it. Get some background before debating please.

Some evidence of Hindu/Buddhist thought is there in some of the passages in the gospels. For example John 1:1 also being found in many ancient pre-Christian Hindu texts as the starting point for chapters, clearly a possibility of Hindu influence. “In the beginning was the word, and the word was with Brahma, and the word was Brahma” (Krishna Yajurveda, Kathaka Samhita, 12.5, 27.1) A lot of what Jesus said about ethics parallels with Buddha's basic teaching. Jesus' experience of the three temptations in the wilderness is also paralleled with the Buddha. They are different temptations, but the existence of three temptations in the wilderness by Mara (Satan) is significant. Also you have some verses in the New Testament that hint at reincarnation theory, like when Jesus hinted at the idea that John the baptist actually was Elijah, "For all the prophets and the Law prophesied until John. And if you are willing to accept it, John himself is Elijah who was to come." (Matthew 11:13-15) Hindu conceptualization would also explain where Christianity conceived of the idea of incarnation in the form of an avatar outside of mere mythology. Some Christians would respond that Jesus' claim to uniqueness sets him apart from Hindu avatars, but those Hindu avatars also make similar claims of uniqueness. In the Gita we find Krishna making similar "I AM" claims. So this may be just God speaking in first person while incarnate in different individuals. "Of all creations I am the beginning and the end and also the middle, Arjuna. I am the spiritual science of the self, and I am the truth." (Gita 10:32)
Religion is a form of slavery similar to that of George Orwells book 1984 (big brother and thought crime exist), God has said that you should kill homosexuals, witches, people of other faiths and disobedient children to name a few. You can not ignore the cultural relativism religion has, you only believe in your certain god because of the country you were born in and all the people who believe differently you believe you will go to hell and you love this man, do you not question that it is not a sin to beliveve whether something is true or not especially when many children are not even aware of Christianity do they deserve to burn in hell for eternity?! The relationship is that between a slave owner and slave as you believe you are owned and your only purpose is to serve your master, you are told to love your enemy and turn the other cheek (be ignorant), you are controlled by fear. the truth is irrelevant only "faith" is important. Religion played a very big role in the Nazi's uprising and many wars surely you can not say that this is healthy? It also says that slavery is okay in the old and new testament, even Jesus recommended beating your slaves. It also says to kill your family if they follow another belief. To worship a man who sends innocent people to hell just because their country believed in another religion and so they were not aware of the religion or because they were born a homosexual is immoral. I will not tolerate religion because religion will not tolerate me.
Ludwig Feuerbach once said: "we are living in a period of the decline of Chrisitanity". Obviously this did not apply so much to his own time as he thought but does it now apply to ours?
Both religions have a lot of similarities, but the one thing that makes both of them differ is Jesus. Assuming one of them is the correct religion, which one is correct?
Christianity was never a force for good. It's a religion that convinces people to worship an imaginary being that closely resembles a Psychopath. Now that you're fired up, debate me. Prove to me God is real or you can just go because no one has and if you do, I will surrender with dignity. If you give up, I win.
Often times we overlook the truth on what the real problem is. The disease of the human nature in itslef is the problem. Humans are flawed, broken, and of need of constant repair. We label everything and we always want to blame someone or something for the worlds problems. The truth is their is no perfect system because we are the system and its broken. Jesus is the way out of our systematic failure. Wether or not you beleive him to be the son of God or not his teachings are without a doubt revolutionary and good. Christianity cannot be held resonsible for war because Jesus taught the opposite of war and the opposite of hate.
