Which is more likely to come to pass: the Republicans' worry or the Democrats'?

The Democrats argue that if Republicans "get their way," the following will occur: by giving tax breaks to the wealthy and free reign to capitalism, instead of "trickle-down economics" producing more jobs, rich fat cats will abuse their power and step on the little people to buy themselves outrageous things and send the economy into a downward spiral.  We'll spend too much on weapons and war and destroy the environment.  By keeping rights away from gays, we create a civil rights issue like that of race in the 60s, and will appear backwards and opressive compared to many other forward-thinking nations. The Republicans arue that if Democrats "get their way," the following will occur: by allowing the government to grow, it will eventually take over and stick it's nose into people's everyday business, like Big Brother.  By spending foolishly on education and non-existent environmental problems instead of defense, we will appear weak and be destroyed by outside forces.  By taxing the wealthy, they will refuse to produce jobs (they'll need to hoard just to maintain their current lifestyle) and the economy will tank.  By giving rights to the gays, people will stop getting married as a result of disillusionment with what marriage means, and begin having children out of wedlock in record numbers. Which of these do you believe is more likely to actually occur?  Has one of them occurred already?  Which set of arguments should we be more realistically concerned with?  Do both have merits?  Are these reasonable summaries of what Democrats and Republicans ostensibly worry about?  Fire on up! ; )

It's obvious you republicans must be racist. Your guy Herman Cain was paid to run for office just so you white folks "wouldn't" look racist. Nice try master. We african Americans are democrat because we want justice for years of republican slavery. Your rich white republicans made all your blood money off the sweat, blood and tears of my relatives. Every time you disagree with Obamas great ideas for change, you are simply reaffirming your racism. There are a good many white folks who support President Obama, the greatest African President! These white folks understand the needs for free healthcare, free housing, free education, lower mortgages and more for us Africans. These white democrats are not racist and understand our needs, they know you top 40% rich republicans made all your money from slavery. The top 1% are the biggest racist of all. They make billions of dollars but only give 40% back to us! That's our money bro, you made that money by cheating me out of it. Thank god for Obama, he is going to do what's right and make you racist rich poor and us Africans rich! See what happens next!!!

I was on someones profile(I will not mention who) and I noticed that none of their allies where republican and all of their enemies and hostiles where republicans. All of them. I guess it could be a coincidence but come on. I'm not saying that's bad. I just want to know why.

If a Republican doesn't like a talk show host, he switches channels. A Democrat demands that those they don't like be shut down. If a Republican is a non-believer, he doesn't go to church. A Democrat non-believer wants any mention of God and religion silenced. If a Republican decides he needs health care, he goes about shopping for it, or may choose a job that provides it. If a Democrat decides he needs health care, he demands that the rest of us pay for his.

      To start with what are Democrates and what is  a Republucan? Everybody says Republicans are people are more conservative and are only interested in helping themselves, and with Democrates they say they are people who think more about the country's benefits more than there own. I rarley hear different stories and when I do its the people protecting there personal titles.I want to hear your thoughts on what they truley are. This a topic very much avoided in school because of the fear of the teachers own personal opinion getting out, which is a big no no in todays society.

Are Republicans Socialists?

Reupblicans believe in a minimum wage.  They don't believe some deadbeat or someone should start of at a "free market" wage...hence, they are true Socialists.  Everyone has created a glass floor that pays about the same as a teacher with $600 per month with college loans, car payment house payment, fuel costs, bills, food, etc.  Minimum wage and welfare people have the same "stuff" as middle class people!  Hence, this is a socialist country! Welfare and minimum wage people should be living on dirt floors and tent cities until they work themselves up to live in a house, have a car and tv...because thats all I got with my Master's degree teaching.  ...just saying...you should be able to tell the difference betweent he middle class and poor people...other than the fact middle class people have to work and can't play games, watch tv and play on the internet all day. If you are for a minimum wage, you are a socialist....therefore, Republicans are Socialists and need to stop calling Democrats Socialists!  You both are...get rid of it and help us middle class people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
