An article from The Week: http://theweek.com/bullpen/column/205792/the-republican-war-on-the-constitution
How true can we say this article is? Are the Republicans attacking our Constitution, or are the Democrats? Or should we just be upset with partisans?
This is about whether the Democratic stances or Republican stances make most sense. If of another party, this may not be for you. If you are going to call one party stupid, please give legitimate reasons to support your statement.
The Democrats argue that if Republicans "get their way," the following will occur: by giving tax breaks to the wealthy and free reign to capitalism, instead of "trickle-down economics" producing more jobs, rich fat cats will abuse their power and step on the little people to buy themselves outrageous things and send the economy into a downward spiral. We'll spend too much on weapons and war and destroy the environment. By keeping rights away from gays, we create a civil rights issue like that of race in the 60s, and will appear backwards and opressive compared to many other forward-thinking nations.
The Republicans arue that if Democrats "get their way," the following will occur: by allowing the government to grow, it will eventually take over and stick it's nose into people's everyday business, like Big Brother. By spending foolishly on education and non-existent environmental problems instead of defense, we will appear weak and be destroyed by outside forces. By taxing the wealthy, they will refuse to produce jobs (they'll need to hoard just to maintain their current lifestyle) and the economy will tank. By giving rights to the gays, people will stop getting married as a result of disillusionment with what marriage means, and begin having children out of wedlock in record numbers.
Which of these do you believe is more likely to actually occur? Has one of them occurred already? Which set of arguments should we be more realistically concerned with? Do both have merits? Are these reasonable summaries of what Democrats and Republicans ostensibly worry about? Fire on up! ; )
According to the article below, Most domesticated mammals are really rather different from their wild ancestors: they often have a radically different body shape, frequently sport unusual fur patterns or markings, and it is not uncommon for them to be able to breed all year round. Which is probably why I can spot a liberal a mile away ;)

Hello:Who said this stuff after January 6? They called it a tragic day for America, an unimaginable display of anarchy not patriotism. They said the mob attempting to overturn the election results had been provoked by former President Donald Trump. They called the destruction and chaos undemocratic. They thanked the Capitol Police for their bravery and called the deadly insurrection a "dark day" for Congress and our country. They said those who broke the law should face legal repercussions..They
said we condemn the violence that took place here in the strongest
possible terms… They said to those who wreaked havoc in our Capitol, you did
not win. Violence never wins. Freedom wins.Of course, we KNOW who they are.. They're REPUBLICAN congressmen and a vice president.https://www.nbcwashington.com/news/politics/one-year-since-january-6-capitol-riot-republicans-try-to-shift-blame-but-heres-what-they-said-at-the-time/2929779/excon

I was on someones profile(I will not mention who) and I noticed that none of their allies where republican and all of their enemies and hostiles where republicans. All of them. I guess it could be a coincidence but come on. I'm not saying that's bad. I just want to know why.
