Should one require some form of identification when on the internet? Would it help restrain questionable anonymous activity, or is it a breach in personal security? Should people have to "sign-in" to access the internet, or does this make access too difficult for people in developing countries? Finally, should people be held accountable in real-life for what they say and do on the internet?
How much of The Donald's promises will he fulfill?
List the election period promises that you believe The Donald will complete and the others that you believe he'll duck and dodge.A few could include..- "Lock her up"- Mexican border "wall"- Muslim Ban- Stop and Frisk- Tax cuts- Planned Parenthood/Obamacare Reform/AbolitionOn top of these, do you think there will be any previously unmentioned efforts that he will enforce, such as foot soldiers in the Middle East (Pence said it wasn't out of the question) or anything else that Republicans usually like to do.
I see a lot of people put down universal health care in European countries and Canada, but for the life of me I can't understand the hate? Imagine being mangled in a car accident and not have to worry about the financial stress? Would that not help with recovery and help alleviate further burdens on top of being injured? Many people in the states, from what I hear are left to perish from illness because of a lack of healthcare access. Does this seem fair?
Why do people concern themselves with the lives of others?
A lot of bigotry and hate to me seems very pointless, most of it can be described as a pointless dislike for a certain lifestyle or culture which has no effect on the individual who is doing the hate. How does two men or women married affect you personally? Just because something doesn't appeal to you doesn't mean you have to go out of your way to negatively impact someone's life. How do abortions affect you? Is someone coming to your home, kidnapping your wife and aborting your children on you?How does someone's race affect you? Other than your personal beliefs that you're a superior being, how does someone with ancestry in a different race negatively affect you? Does knowing there are people of African descent out there bother you? Do you struggle to complete work because of the idea of there being other races out there?I just don't understand how any of these topics personally impact the lives of those who are so against them, they have little to almost no impact on the daily lives of the average citizen.Should your sense of disgust be more important to your country than someone else's sense of happiness?
This may seem like a strech, but I'm noticing a certain sense of hypocrisy in regards to stereotyping groups. On one side, several members of a certain religion (Islam), have performed acts of great terror which have negatively affected many citizens from many countries. On the other, hired public servants, through a lack of training and filtering during the hiring process, also perform what could be considered an act of terror on innocent civilians. Now, the part that confuses me most is that while many like to generalize an entire religion of 1.7 Billion people (23% of the global population), the same people are quick to defend the actions of police officers (900,000-1,100,000 in the U.S.), stating that "There's bound to be a few rotten apples in a batch."If someone could explain the thought process that one takes to arrive at such assumptions that would be wonderful, because it seems foolish to selectively stereotype groups and hold certain ones more accountable than others for similar actions.
These polls, especially "Twitter Polls" can occasionally be double/triple/etc voted by any person, can be completed by anyone, in any country and do not take into consideration political affiliation or any sort of sensible polling information. One of these polls could simply be won by one side having more members online at once and do not provide any substantial and informative information apart from "Who's online right now".But these are apparently more accurate than national polls?
It was 4 people. Not a war, not a genocide, not a bombing campaign. Almost 10X that amount are killed DAILY in the U.S. from intentional homicide. What is so special about these 4 people that their deaths are still being brought up 4 years later? I understand the atrocity of the events, just not sure why it's still discussed past having a memorial for the victims.
Why do you believe in a deity? (Christianity, Islam, Judaism, etc.)
Why is it that without any clear mention of proof, that many are so quick to believe in a deity? Is it solely in hopes of there being an afterlife, or that one needs a reason to explain the inexplicable in one's life? Why is it so easily believed despite being an extremely questionable topic?
It can be discovered that Donald Trump enjoys his fair share of sexual assaults and misogyny, but when faced with a question about this reprehensible talk, Republicans simply say "Hillary is worse", as if it justifies them voting for The Donald. Both candidates are obviously not qualified for the position, but why can Republicans never give a straight answer in regards to the actions of their party's leader? Democrats dodge as well, but at least they'll occasionally admit fault, but it seems as though a Republican would rather die a painful death than admit that their candidate is a rather nasty man (Grab them by the pussy?).It's already known that Hillary is a neglectful dumb ass, but why can Republicans not admit the faults of The Donald?inb4 "Hillary is worse", "Dems never apologize", "Benghazi", "Bill Clinton is a rapist" <---- This has nothing to do with the question.
