The meaning of life has been long thought about and yet.... not a conclusion ever reached. Jokingly the meaning of life is the number 42 from recent pop culture. What I want to do is propose that the meaning of life is simply, to observe and give purpose to an otherwise pointless universe. If you agree state why and if you disagree do the same.
Is evolution truely survival of the fittest? or is it a giant balancing act that can be related to the mathimatical equation of Pi where everything is different but, the deeper you go into the equation the more perfect the circle gets?
Since the word "being" means existance and many try to argue a fetus is a human being (when it comes to human children unborn) I propose this question. Is the fetus a human being or a fetal being?

The US Department of Energy reports that Sandia Labs researchers in cooperation with the University of New Mexico have created new improved “zombie” cells that are more resilient, and outperform living mammalian cells as catalysts and conductors.
They’re taking cells and soaking them in silica, which permeates the entire cell and hardens everything in it, as if it’s a mold. They then heat it, burn off the organic part of the cell, its protein, so that you’re left with the silica mold of the cell. The thing is, the silica mold actually can still do a lot of things the cell would normally do.
SciGuru notes that “for reasons still partially obscure, enters without clogging and in effect embalms every organelle in the cell from the micro- to the nanometer scale.” Yes, it’s Always good news when working with zombies for the researchers to not fully understand why the process works.
The new and improved cells can be exposed to super high temperatures and pressures and they’d still work. “Once we’ve used silica to stabilize the cellular structure, it can still carry out reactions and, more importantly, that reaction is stable enough to work at high temperatures.
The method is also a means to take a soft, potentially valuable biological material and convert it to a fossil that will stay on our shelves indefinitely.”
It’s going to be harder to kill the zombies with fire, the scientists say. And without outside intervention, the zombies can live forever.

You decide which is actually worse.
Seems like this is a common debate amung gamers of all types. I personally reside on the no graphics side. Because the classic rogue-likes still beat graphical games in terms of size, replayability, imagination and what is capable in a small application. A game like dwarf fortress (even without graphics is still a 3D game) is just as good at any graphical game but, not because of the graphics. The game play is top notch and is developed by 1 person. I would like to hear your opinions and facts on the matter.
A school lockdown occurs when some unathorized personel walks into the school with a gun and poses a threat to the student body.
When a lockdown order is issued all teachers and staff are to run to designated area's **within** the school.
They are to hide in inconvienent rooms untill the lockdown order is dismissed.
Does this seem more dangerous then everyone just making a run for it both teachers and staff alike?
I have created a song and am curious to know what you think and if it suits him well.
It is a dark slow melodic tune that plays on the thoughts of melancholy, loneliness and anger. Played with one instrument (Piano), and every time I see him around i have this tune playing in my head and inspired me to write it.

This is more of a perspective debate but, it goes either one of two ways. What I ask from you debaters is that you look at more then just humanity. Look at the entire universe (or as much of it as you can possibly comprehend based off the bible or science it doesn't really matter)
My personal stand point is that this universe is actually an imprisonment. Theoretically, this universe from a scientific perspective sees what it is and it is what it is however, there is a lot of controversy as to the existance of God and what our role in regards to Him is. It is said that this universe was as easy for Him to create as it is for us to blink. That being said, the bible has shown that God is a bit of a control freak and anyone who disobeys him is cast into the fiery depths of hell. Which is described as a place of everlasting fire and torment day in and day out. Most believe that every living thing indeed has a spirit and some even believe everything has a spirit. Be that as it may I choose the side of "This is Hell" because hell doesnt seem to be too far off in description as to what this universe actually is. It's extreamly cold, it's extreamly hot, it's vastness incredible, it's beauty as destructive as it is magnificent and every living being is made to suffer. Yes, there are pleasures in life but whos to say that those pleasures are not momentary releif before being tortured once again so that you actually know you're being tortured?
In depth on the subject, it is proclaimed that evolution is the process of life. (How life came to be don't ask me, I don't know, either do you) What is known is that life started off very very small. Single celled organisms that would have a supreme survival instinct (a weapon I believe) to hang on just a little while longer before the "Second death". It is believed that these beings were a sexual and evolved to support itself in very complicated ways. This would mean that every cell then would be a replica of the same conciousness that the first had. Continuing on for a vast amount of time (overly simplified I know) we come to where we are now. All beings of conciousness in some respect. Even plants. They are quite aware of the sun, changes in temperature, and trees are so well aware that they lose their leaves in the fall and regrow them when the time is due. In the end though "we are all the same (one) conciousness sharing itself subjectively" - bill hicks.
In light of all that should it be concieved that we are the one essence of he who was deemed an unholy angel and cast out of heaven and are ignorently experiencing hell? I'd like to hear your take.
