This, I think is a question that is truly international. The space race is long over, the ISS nearly completed and public enthusiasim for space travel world wide is diminishing. For the United States NASA is often seen as being wasteful and little more than an interesting past time. In other nations space programs seem to be a mark of international status, landing on the Moon is a mark of economic and scientific prosperity. What does continued exploration offer the world?
As the movie approaches release it's time for CD nerds to weigh in. Will the movie be a success or has Hollywood wasted another opportunity at redeeming itself?
The United States allows men and women to enlist in the military at age 18, to vote at age 18, but only allows consumption of alcohol at age 21. Should the drinking age be lowered? Or alternatively should enlistment ages and voting ages be raised?
