So, you are telling me that the universe was made by a bunch of gases which went boom. Then after a long process it became the Earth.
Just a little question about your theory. Who made these tiny gases? Who made life? It would take more than just a coincidental arrangement of atoms and molecules to form a single living cell. Science does not explain life AT ALL. What happens in the afterlife? Or, what is outside of the universe? is it just empty space? How far does it lead us?
Here is an easy game. You name me one Muslim terrorist, and I name you one Muslim who is very peace-loving. While your list stretches to the thousands at most, I can guarantee you my list can stretch to hundreds of millions.
Not all of us are extremists. Some of us suffer from this war. While the people outside of the third world do not comprehend this, it is easy for a fourteen year old. And to all those Christians out there who think we hate Noah, Jacob, Isaac, Solomon, Joseph, David, Moses, Abraham and Jesus,
Think again.
When others think that your friends may have bad intentions, we can easily delete them away, again with the click of the mouse. Just as long as you can practice some cyber wellness, you are practically protected by the computer screen, so the stranger would have no physical contact with you.
It does not really matter if your friend likes you or even know you at all, since MY definition of a 'friend' is basically an acquaintance, or just basically anyone with any kind of relations to you whatsoever. It does not matter if your friend is a good one or otherwise.
Mind if I butt in?
With the click of the mouse, you can easily add a friend on Facebook. In Facebook it would be much faster and convenient to make friends. Unlike in normal situations, it would be easier to for shy people who find it harder to speak up and introduce yourself, and what's more, there would be an awkward silence if you two can't find anything to talk about. In Facebook, since technically it is all silent, it won't feel odd, or uneasy to just type.
School uniforms prevent you from looking any uglier than you already; uniformity. In the case that you wear clothes that are out of style, that you will be further humiliated.
If you do something good in public, they would not be able to recognize your school.
Fashion trends can last as long as one whole year, some as short as one week. Parents feel the pressure to when tying to provide their children with latest peer-pleasing designs.
I agree that online debating is more intersting than classroom debating.
Firstly, online debating is generally for people who like to keep to themselves, they don't talk much. Some people tend to not like to talk so much because of their fear to "lose face".
Secondly, online debators do not need to be in the same room. When registered online, people from all over the world can debate on the same topic. Classrooom debators would need to be in the same place to carry out the debate.
What's more, they also have to speak louder in order for everyone to in the room to listen. In an online debate, whatever the debators type in are clearly visible to the opponents and the audience.
