I spend three to four hours a night looking after my two small children by myself. It's very demanding, but far more rewarding and less stressful than my office job. I'd gladly do it full time if I could afford it.
I don't have anywhere near the amount of time I wish I had to do what I want to do, let alone use up even more time writing about things I already did.
Life is short. It amazes me the way people fritter it away....like people who win the lottery, but keep working because they don't have anything else to do....I hate those people.

It was tough to pick a side, and maybe given the amount of time and energy rabid jackasses for Jesus spend on making life miserable for homosexuals, I picked the wrong one, but as I mentioned in another debate, I frequently pretend to be a Christian to avoid harassment and at least some homosexuals (although it's sad they should have to) can pretend to be straight if they feel threatened.
It's pretty tough to pretend you're not black in a similar situation.

The Christian god is a morally bankrupt piece of crap and at the very least, subconsciously, everybody who chooses to live in a civilized society knows this and lives by their own moral standards. Thankfully, few Christians these days have adopted God's morality when it comes to disobedient children or people doing yard work on the sabbath.

Another example of the foolishness of Christianity. It is impossible to love by command. You cannot love another human being simply because you're told to.
Besides, Jesus set the bar pretty low when it comes to loving people. I would hope you could aspire to something better than the love of a man who tells people to hate their families, parents to murder their children and not only does nothing to stop slavery, but actually commands slaves to be obedient to their "masters" as if such a thing as a slave master should be allowed by anybody with an ounce of decency in a position to stop it.

Heh...thx. It's ok though. I'm at the age now where my friends have kids, I have my own kids and a bazillion kids in my extended family, so for the last few years, everybody in my circle agreed not to buy each other anything and spend everything on the kids. Christmas has been so much more enjoyable ever since. I personally dislike receiving gifts. If I want something, I buy it. Chances are if I don't already have it, it's because I don't want it and then I'll just have to go through the trouble of pretending I like it and later hope that whomever gave it to me doesn't notice that I never wear/use/eat it.
