Some experts believe that, more than in any other area, school uniforms improve the social outcomes in a school environment. Clothing and fashion are often at the root of social conflict. Children are often ridiculed by other children because of the way they dress. According to the statistics, which written by US Department of Education about 25 % of children suffer from not equal position in class and the sociologists believe that it is connected with uniforms.
Yes I agree that in some cases it is not so comfortable. However, in my opinion if children much less focus on appearance and they will focus more on learning. Appearance can be very distracting for pre-teens and teens, because it is a part of their life. Of course, they should express themselves and show their styles, but outside of school.
Yes it shows, but not so much as different casual clothes. For example, students do not know how many dresses or T-shirts has another student. In my view, it is better for poor families. Also it is a way to help parents save their money. The up front cost of a uniform would be much less than a new wardrobe of the new trendy clothes.
In my opinion, wearing uniforms has another benefit. School is primarily a place of learning. The clothes should be reflective of that. Clothing should be respectful and conservative falling in the lines of the schools dress code. Unfortunately, often in high schools we can find girls wearing showy clothes, such as short skirts or low cut shirts. Boys would rather wear low trousers showing their underwear. Both are inappropriate outfits that should not be allowed at schools. With uniforms, these clothes would be replaced by respectful clothes.
Moreover, school uniform is way of people to show respect. Wearing school uniform helps poor students feel better. Other school where students are allowed to wear what they want make other student feel bad. People who can afford high quality clothes wear them at school, where the other poor students feel pinching because they can't afford the same quality clothes. In my view, wearing school uniforms makes people feel more academic, educational and of course equal.
Pakizat, our thoughts are the same. Children who come from a less fortunate economic background would not appear to be "lacking" or made fun because of their parents could not afford to buy them the newest fashionable clothes. This case can be harmful for students' psychology.
Rabiga, I think your point of view is good, price is really important, but students do not wear every day the same dress or jeans, they want to change their clothes, they also do not want to be worse that other students. That is why I think that buying clothes for school instead of uniform will be more expensive.
You are right, Pakizat. Of course, if students do not think about what to wear to school, they will save time for both themselves and parents. Children would not have to think about what to wear in the morning and parents save time taking children shopping and waiting for them to get ready.
I totally agree with Pakizat. Yes, uniform is just cloth which students wear to school. I think that students who wear school uniforms behave more appropriately at school. They believe that uniforms dictate a stricter atmosphere and that students who wear uniforms are more likely to follow school rules. Also uniform is a first step to be disciplined.
Of course I agree with you that wearing is a way for students to express themselves. However, I think that school is not suitable place for expressing. In school students should be neat and well maintained. That is why schools try to encourage discipline at school.

Today we have debate on topic which is called “Should high school students wear uniforms?” Nowadays this topic is really urgent and popular among young people, because all students at school think that it is bad. However, many public and state school systems all over the world have school uniforms in order to improve overall school performance and to reduce negative behavior .Both sides of this issue have their own arguments in favor and against. Now I want to discuss this theme with you and to understand your points of view.
In conclusion, I want to say that cohabitation before marriage is a way to avoid any commitment. These people are just afraid of of responsibility.
Moreover, they may leave as soon as it becomes troublesome. Also they may be living like a married couple, but when it comes to economic and social resources, they are not equal to that of a married couple. Unfortunately, it is also harmful for children. If children are born into the unmarried cohabiting couple, at a great risk that the couple could break up. Or girl can make abortion.
According to the article which is called “What’s wrong with the work of the national marriage project?” high number of cohabitors plan to marry their partner. Among those who plan to marry there is no difference in terms of relationship quality when compared to married people.

In 2000 the total number of unmarried couples cohabiting in America reached 4.75 million. In 1960 there were less than 500,000 unmarried cohabiting couples. This information shows us that today cohabitation is a real problem of our society. What do you think why do young people prefer this way?
I think the first argument is that people who cohabit lose excitement of "being married."
After people get married they have new feelings and emotions because everything is different in their life. However, when people live together before marriage they do not have any changes. They still do the same things and have the same habits.
