My church always says that the bread of god is just bread in a thin circle and blood of god is wine.

It is symbolism of God's blood that was shed by his son to save us our sins and same with the bread symbolizing his body given to us so our sins are forgiven

So you are saying that killing people is okay as long as an all powerful God doesn't punish you?

Not all Christians hate science, besides what created the big bang?
