There are some kinds of torture I do not believe in. Waterboarding, however, is not one of them. It is not extremely cruel, yet can make the suspects talk.

In my opinion, it's wrong to hit anyone. (Except in the case of self defense, in which case, they shouldn't be hitting you)

However, not everyone believes that, so, when they got it coming, whether they're male or female, they deserve it. Since some people firmly believe women are as tough as men (Which I agree to at times), why do they still think it's wrong to hit a girl?

Sweet Home Alabama used to be Please Hold My Llama in my mind.

Jazz.

Unlike rock or metal, power chords and repeated techniques don't work here.

If you want to be a good jazz musician, you have to know every scale, technique, and note that you can use in a song, and be ready to use it at any given time, in order to ensure that your song doesn't become repetitive or boring.

I totally and completely agree with you... GO POTTERHEADS!!!

All you need is love. Money can only buy you so much hapiness.

I'm going to agree with you there. Seeing how humans are constantly inventing new medical machines and equipment to aid survivability, it really can't be too long before we perfect it.

I think something will indeed happen, but I doubt it will be the end of the human race. I'm leaning towards the fall of a civilization, possibly a world power.

"Power isn't a feeling. Respect isn't a feeling. Morals, honour etc isn't feelings."

You are partly right; Respect/Power/Honor is a feeling, but not an emotion.

You can feel powerful and respected, as well as honored.

We need to think about feelings and emotions, let's take a serial killer for example.

Does he feel guilt or remorse for what he did? Probably not, unless he's at his execution or on his deathbed. What I'm saying is, a lack of feelings is something to be concerned about.

I agree with jessald.

Why do we have goals?

To achieve a feeling of happiness, power, or whatever.

Shoot, I'm siding with Pineapple, here.

I thought this was a debate on the psychology between friends.

No offense, but this isn't the site for advice.

(Well sometimes, but not in this case)

Real quick here, I want to say that I don't hate them, and that I do indeed like some of them, however, I still think the music they play has no talent. Then again, I doubt they care, as long as they got my money in their pocket.

Music is music. Whether it's good or not is all up to your opinion. Is it a failure? Well, people listen to it, so no.

They listen to it now, but are they going to remember it in a couple of years?

The Ivy Three had their song Yogi in 1960. It placed #8 on the Billboard Hot 100. But now, how many people today can remember them?

Now also in 1960, here come the Beatles. Today, almost anyone can tell you about the Beatles.

It's reggae all the way for me. Who can hate the peaceful vibes?

One love!

I'd say Elvis, simply because I feel he had a stronger voice than Michael.

Don't get me wrong, MJ was a great singer, there's just no way I'd put him above Elvis.

Reggae always puts me in a good mood, and simply makes me a more peaceful person.

Originality, and effort.

Too many musicians today are so utterly fake, it breaks my heart.

I'll say this.

A musician, who writes his or her own music, and enjoys what they do, is alright in my books, even if what they play is so bad it makes my ears bleed.

Reggae, because of it's laidback attitude and peaceful messages.

One love!

I think I do. You said not to explain, so I won't, but I'm pretty sure he was remembered as a word that starts with "e" and ends with "er"

It's always reggae from me.

Reggae makes me happy, so if I'm feeling down, it picks me up.

But if I'm already doing fine, it makes me happier.

Whenever the snow starts ablowin' outside. ;)

However, if there is no snow, 2 to 3 weeks before, I guess.

Reggae.

It's upbeat, happy, and peaceful.

Why would you want to listen to music that makes you sad or depressed, when you can just not worry and be happy?

One love!

Amen to that!

The blues has spawned so much, such as most kinds of guitar based music.

Reggae is on top, with rockabilly behind it.

Reggae is laidback and peaceful, with meaningful lyrics (Most of the time)

For the most part, it's happy music that normally promotes peace.

Terrorists can be considered evil.

Although they may think what they're doing is truly right, nothing can change the fact that they go about doing it in completely unethical and downright evil ways.

So yes, I agree, it is a war with evil.
