I'm not disputing the facts that melanin will not fully protect you; I was disputing the claim of it damaging the melanin. I cannot find anything that corroborates that statement. If you know of any, please post a link. I don't mind being proven wrong if there are facts.
Actually, part of my explanation wasn't fully correct:
Independence Was Not Declared on July Fourth: The second Continental Congress actually voted for independence on July 2. In fact, John Adams wrote to his wife, Abigail, predicting that future generations would celebrate July 2 as Independence Day, saying, "The second day of July, 1776, will be celebrated by succeeding generations as the great anniversary festival. It ought to be solemnized with pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires, and illumination, from one end of this continent to the other, from this time forward forevermore." July 4, 1776 is significant because that is the day that Congress officially adopted the Declaration of Independence document, but contrary to what many people believe it was not signed on the July 4. The official signing ceremony occurred on August 2, which is when most of the signers affixed their names to the document, but other representatives signed the document throughout the summer of 1776. Finally, there is no historical record of John Hancock saying that his signature is that big so that King George could read it. It has been suggested that Hancock's is by far the largest signature simply because he was the president of Congress.
Art, of any form, develops the mind. It exercises a part of the mind that is not always used. So yes, it should be taught because the idea is to enlighten and expand the minds of our youth. I had art class in one year of junior high and I was horrible in it. But i still think it's worthwhile. The only thing artistic about me now is that I taught myself to play the Native American flute.
The fourth is the celebration of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. But all the rest that you listed are true. As far as the death of British soldiers, there were many casualties on both sides. But the fight for freedom was worth it to get out from under England's rule and taxes.
Neither side was worthy of using as a response, but I chose this side. I am of American Indian descent, so I tan easily and stay darker through the winter. I will pull off my shirt to work in the yard or pasture to stay cooler and because I enjoy the sun. There is no better source for vitamin D than the sun. As far as damaging your melanin, melanin acts as a sunscreen and protects the skin from ultraviolet light. Melanin is produced by cells called melanocytes. It provides some protection against skin damage from the sun, and the melanocytes increase their production of melanin in response to sun exposure.
I pretty well agree with you on most parts. I think it probably dates back to when the Catholic church would not allow divorce.King Henry VIII wanted to divorce his wife Catherine and marry Ann Boleyn. He eventually broke away from the Catholic Church due to his desire to divorce and remarry. He started the Church of England, now known as the Episcopal Church.
The Castle Doctrine in Texas allows you to use lethal force without having to back down without any repercussions. It also extends into your vehicle, but you have to be in your vehicle at the time of use for that to be true unless you are a concealed handgun licensee. Then you can use lethal force whenever your life or anyone else's life is threatened.
You Are an Apple
You are strong, powerful, and even a bit stubborn at times.
You have enough strength to help those around you in trouble.
You are adventurous and charming. Many people are drawn to you.
You love life, and you enjoy traveling the world. You enjoy fine food, art, and culture.
People have accused you of being a snob, but that's not accurate.
You do enjoy the best things in life. Unlike snobs, you truly appreciate quality... not just pretend to.
It is up to the states due to the tenth amendment because the Feds have no right to prevent gay marriage by the powers given to them by the constitution, but the states are prohibited by the fourteenth amendment. So all in all, it seems to be a moot point.
That's why I put it out there...to get people to think. There are too many who are sheeple and will go along with what they are told they should. Then we have those that will find a conspiracy behind every tree. I tend to lean towards the conspiracy side because I believe very little the government tries to push on us. There are just too many unanswered and even unasked questions. People need to question more of what's going on around them.
Second, what you said is not true: in 2006, firearms were used in 68 percent of murders
What I said was that those that go through the training and are licensed to carry are less likely to be involved in a gun related murder. True, guns are for killing, but those of us who choose to be licensed are simply prepared to kill if the threat is presented to us to go to that extreme. Very few concealed carry licensed individuals have had their licenses revoked due to unnecessary gun violence. Many of those few have had them revoked due to violence that did not even involve a gun. I could dig through my stacks of magazines to give you those references, but you could probably find it as easily if you google it. As far as me carrying a gun, let me refer you to this story...

As you stated, which was my point, it doesn't matter.
There will always be gun violence. No matter where you are. With or without gun control.
This is where I picked up that it doesn't matter...with or without gun gun control, there will always be gun violence.
I have heard many white people talk ghetto as well as blacks that have no hint of race in their speech. Making the distinction between the two just sounds racist to me. It really doesn't matter what race you are to be a racist. People are people, who will talk however is the most comfortable to them. But to say a black person is talking white , IMO, is racist. They may have been raised in an environment where that type of speech was common. That would be like you saying I'm talking white because I don't say to you." Hau, me likem you heap much. Stereotyping is wrong, whatever race is doing it.
