Good point! On the other hand, it is not the police's job to kill people, but sometimes it is neccessary to protect the people

However, they can shoot at you anyways. Some maniacs just want to kill people and for those guns carried by teachers could stop them. The question is: aren't there other ways to achieve safety in schools!?

This could be prevented by gun training for teachers to prepare them...just like police officers are taught in their training

But at least the teacher could protect all students in his class by having a gun. And maybe the teacher with a gun can stop the shooter from going on his journey
