This could have easily been inferred based on the countless gay children with straight parents or straight children with gay parents. I don't see why this is even a thing. I mean really. Why.

As long as it has been thoroughly proven that all accusations were false, yes. Rape is a very serious crime and even being accused without conviction can turn someone's life upside down. There needs to be reprocussions for people who make a joke of it or falsely accuse someone out of spite. However, I can see certain negative consequenses of enforcing this, particularly if there was a rape that cannot be proved. The system could end up unknowingly sending an innocent or a victim to jail because of a law enforcing this.

Yet of all the differences you listed, one similarity makes them irrelevant: neither has the emotional or mental capability to give consent.

That is a very good point. In your comparison to the human equivilant - which is a very accurate one - the ten year old is also not mental capable of giving consent.

While I completely agree that this is an odd sexual orientation and many may find it disturbing, it is a sexuality nonetheless and we should treat it as such.

The way I see it, animals are like children or underage teens. There is no way that they can give you absolute consent. During sex there could be no communication to assure the human or animal that what is happening is okay. There are so many issues with this and that is only the one that stands out to me the most. I am a very liberal individual and am a huge supporter of all types of sexual orientations... as long as each party is able and willing. Consent is the number one most important quality in any type of relationship and an animal is simply not equipped to give that to a human.

While I think that there could absolutely be negative consequenses of athiests talking to religious people, I also think there are many positive consequenses. In life it is necessary to take the risk in order to obtain new information and knowledge from other people. I am a Wiccan and personally, I enjoy talking to people who are Athiests, Christians, Muslims, or whomever is willing to converse in a civil manner with an open mind. No one should be excluded from a conversation or discussion based on their religious views. In fact, I believe that the conversation becomes much more interesting when there are many participants with different views. It provides new perspectives and learning opportunities.
