Saying that god exists because you cannot prove that he doesnt isnt relevant. The point is not to prove the other person wrong but to back up your beliefs with factuall evidence.

I dont believe in god and i hate holy wars but i think singling out one religion and saying if they are gone the will be better is just un called for. SO no i dont think so.

I dont see why not, our daughters dont have to become prostitutes. They can still get an education and become a lawyer. Just because prostitution becomes legal it doesnt make everyone want to sell themselves

God is in my opinion a non existent being. There is absolutely no concrete proof of his existence. And if you are going to reply to this don't use the bible to prove his existence because that is like using a Superman comic to prove Superman is real. Religion is ( and I'm not going to say evil ) but greatest misfortune to happen to humanity. There is nothing that religion has that science cant bring about. How many genocide's and wars have been justified or done in the name of god or whoever they worship.

There is no proof that god is real. Logical thought says that god is something used to explain events to complex for primative human minds.

Personally I think it is. It is a beliefe that you are in controll of your own future and no one is making you their puppet. Im Athiest. It is scary thinking there is no god but it is kind of liberating.

The earth being here is because of the big bang theory. There is no such thing as a sin, a sin is what the bible says is a sin and the bible is 1 big lie. Im fine with god not being here cause bad sh*t happens to good people. agree it gives you a reason to do good in the world even if there is no god. And ya if you die and there is nothing it would probably be like the times you go to sleep and you dont dream at all except you dont wake up.

1st of all your the first good debater ive come up against.2nd of all i think its good for every 1 to have there own opinion whether god's real or not. I cant change any body opinion but i can put mine out there and see who agrees or disagrees. The only way you can figure out if he is real or not is if you die and go to whatever is on the other side. I personally dont believe anyone can predict the future but you may believe otherwise. Like i said everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

God and all that was created to explain the natural world around them because their minds couldnt grasp the science behind natural occuring proceses. And if they didnt have anything to look forward to after they die what was the point of living?

Like I said, those predictions could have meant anyhting for example before 9 11 if I said "in the future a tree will burn" every 1 would freak out saying i predicted it. Just like in the 2012 prediction by him it probably could mean alot of thing like maybe another depresion or a government will start to fall apart. It's not always literal. And im not saying someone can predict the future.

The stories that pridict things are incredibly vague. Like Nostradamus, he predicted many things and sure he had a few lucky gesses but they could have corosponded to any thing.

There is no proof that he is real. The bible is just stories to try and understand the world around them.

What proof. there is only century old theory's. God and heaven is used to scare us into being good thats what all the rulers wanted and the idea of a higher power controling were you go when you die was a very good way to do that. It's like the toothe fairy,HE DOESNT EXIST. If you think everything in the bible is true than you are mistaken I can write you a story full of B.S and call it the Bible 2. The human mind is weak and back then they didnt have the facts to know how the world works so they said it's "GODS" will. When we die we are dead end of story, No heaven No Hell Just nothing.

I think there are 3 things that make a good movie, A good storyline violence and sex.

Yes. I'm not a fan of pain or torture but in some cases i think it is justified. I think criminals should be tortured. But inly the rapists and murderers.
