All you seem to have is calling me names and this!

Your first link: simply an opinion of a guy who was not there.

In the 48 years since, many others have joined the fray: some echoing Alperovitz and denouncing the bombings, others rejoining hotly that the bombings were moral, necessary, and life-saving.

Your second link: A Japanese guy claims that the A bombs wasn't necessary. 😕 Hmmmmmmm -- No shit

Hasegawa - who was born in Japan and has taught in the United States since 1990, and who reads English, Japanese, and Russian - rejects both the traditional and revisionist positions. According to his close examination of the evidence, Japan was not poised to surrender before Hiroshima, as the revisionists argued, nor was it ready to give in immediately after the atomic bomb.

I can't believe you just said that shit. WOW

Get some history

With 2,000,000 Japanese troops on the home island of Japan, clearly the losses on Okinawa were accurately predictive to US military leaders. Hirohito surrendered to MacArthur not Stalin. Daaaaaa

Still just a dream. However their credibility is coming apart in handfuls.

What then say you of North Korea?

1 point

Yes it does, but not by the obliteration of another nation. Palestine

Having been themselves without a country, I'm perplexed that Israel steadfastly forces that condition on others.

I agree with your assessment of the political motivation behind his ouster. I'm just tickled shitless that the progressive is gone.

Apparently they do. The A bombs dropped on Japan killed between 130,000 and 230,000 people, while saving an estimated 1,000,000 American lives.

The man who pissed of a nation of patriotic Americans, cost the NFL tens of millions, and now admits he'd reverse his stand if someone - anyone would again pay him millions to play football.

Yet the true cowards are the NFL team owners, who spinelessly give in to their own multimillionaire employees and at the same time won't give poor old Kaepernick a job.

Truly amazing.

With hundreds of millions of guns currently in this country in, the hands of private citizens, why would you imagine that a ban would be effective?

Religions reflect the culture of the societies that use them. Western society has evolved it's culture over the past sixteen centuries to reject certain beliefs and practices. Human rights have become a powerful determinant in what is considered acceptable. The religion western culture uses has also changed to remain relevant. Middle eastern culture has not kept pace with western culture in terms of human rights. Western ideas about human rights are beginning to be adopted by middle eastern cultures. Consequently the religion used by middle eastern culture has only now begun the process of change. There are two Islams today. In a couple more centuries, if middle eastern culture continues to evolve, Islam will change change to remain relevant, just as Christianity has done.

Culture is the driving force behind religions. If you find Islam to be repugnant, remember it's the culture that needs to change first. Be patient, recalling that human rights is a still evolving element in western culture as well.

Yeah Hitler was f*#:%d up. What's your point.

Actually there are millions of us. Big stack of needles. Find proof that we don't exist.

War is an extremely brutal, last resort option for Americans. There really is good and evil in the world. The people of Iraq no longer live under a ruthless dictatorship. The people of Kuwait still have a country. The people of the Pacific Rim do not live under the iron fist of Japan. The countries of Europe are not now oppressed by a Nazi dictator. Freedom and self rule are alive in the world today because of the American Constitution. Put some facts into your twisted perspective and make it better.

I'm a retired "factory worker" one of millions across this nation who had careers in manufacturing and are now enjoying a standard of living that is the American dream. Your assessment of our lives and well being demonstrates a complete ignorance of fact.

It's considered to be an important step in the march toward Utopia, that we first be disarmed. Considering the history of our culture surrounding guns, it's not happening.

Americans, those who regard history as a guide, understand that weapons are part of freedom. We do not live in a mythical world where everyone is nice.

Well ---------- sadly, they can't defend liberalism all that well, so they kinda have nothing to go with except "attack the speaker". "Your racist"

😠

Most often they can't provide a connection to racism or any other ism, when challenged. Challenge them and have some fun.

Wilson is a genius compared to the voters who sent her to Washington. She is your standard liberal parrot, mouthing the same tired insults that all liberals use when confronted with reality. "Your a sexist, your a raciest, you don't care about people. Bla Bla Bla.

Never having studied much Plato, I'm not familiar with "empty barrels" but she seems more like an empty hat, if you ask me.

NASCAR owners, drivers and employees have figured out what Lefties fail to grasp. Any sort of protest failing to honor our flag or our national anthem is miss guided in it's tactic and does nothing to gain support for their cause.
