Kosovo, Somalia, and currently Syria. Yes, there were and will be more holocausts. However, I don't think the Germans or Japanese will ever be the perpetrators again. Over the next couple of hundred years, humans will eventually settle into democratic states and the likelihood will eventually decrease.
Not in the general dictionary but in the Acronyms, Initialisms and Abbreviations Dictionary though. They can also add ROTFL, BRB etc. Why not? Of course people will resist these terms but English is an organic language and it's interesting for me to see these new developments.
There is hope, because it is impossible to go any further backwards. Just kidding :)
On a serious note, when one side dominates, it's always a bad idea. The democrats need to vote to even things up. The same (in reverse) goes with ardently democratic areas. Democracy works best with good competition. I am left wing, what you would call "liberal" or "a democrat voter", but I would hate to see too much domination by one side or another.
What is this so called "reverse discrimination"? Discrimination is discrimination. You ask "When do we stop paying for past transgressions?". My question to you: "is the site is punishing you in any way?" As for being in the past, racism is still going strong today, both by black people and white people. Shops still have the right to refuse entry to black (or white) people and some still do. Bad business yes, but perfectly legal.
I personally have no problem with the site. It is for black people who prefer other black people. Other sites give you a choice of what race you prefer. There are also sites for people who just want sex and yet others for gay people and lesbians. Racist, perhaps, but nothing to whip yourself into a frenzy about.
Your statement sums up the intelligence of arguments against homosexuality. I have yet to see one intelligent argument against homosexuality. Even the Bible has comparatively little to say about it compared to hoarding possessions and usury. It's about as evil as eating shrimp.
The word Amen has more than religious connotations. The word is defined by an online dictionary as "an expression of concurrence or assent". In other words, it means "I agree with you". In fact I agree that there is an appropriate age to stop breastfeeding. However, I disagree that the gov. should stick it's oar in and legislate.
The creation of "designer babies" is a slippery slope. It will start as a way to eliminate genetic disease, a good thing. However, people WILL use it for cosmetic, racial "purity" or homophobic reasons. It could create an underclass of those who are not genetically modified.
Homosexuality is NOT wrong. In fact, in a way, it does not exist. There is a male and female in every relationship, even homosexual relationships. A feminine gay man has a feminine brain, it is literally wired that way. You can see the dichotomy even stronger in many lesbian relationships. Are you going to tell a butch lesbian that she is wrong and should have a relationship with a man? Going against your true nature is lying and the Bible has many words to say about lying.
I tend to agree with some of your arguments to a certain extent. However, taxation should pay for people who can't afford it. Taxation pays for the military, roads, public transport, the fire services etc. Why not for medical care? Take 25% of the military budget and the whole thing is covered. No need to get employers to pay.
So you are christian only when it suits you. You are simply a HATER who gives the Bible a bad name. Jesus would be absolutely disgusted with the bigoted and hateful comment you made! You obviously don't understand the main teachings of the lord Jesus Christ! In case you didn't read it, 1 John 4, 7-12:
"7 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9 This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. 10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 11 Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12 No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. "
Have you eaten shellfish, worked on the sabbath or taken out a loan lately? According to the sacred Bible, YOU are committing an abomination!!! The Bible is a great book, don't get me wrong, but there are some things you should take with a grain of salt. How many animal sacrifices have you made lately? Get with the times!!!
