Check the Home invasion and Burglary stat again, and yes, the crime rate is because of all the gangs that use illegal guns from the black market. We can stop this by letting law abiding citizens buy guns from the store, same problems with Marihjuana

They want you to "obey" thats why they take it away and control it. Checking if a person is sane to have a gun is ok, but the state "saying you cant have guns we watch you now" is close to Slavery. Gun Control does not work! Why should criminals give up their guns, they are criminals they don't follow laws. You will be the only one without proper tools to defend yourself. Drugs are illegal, you cant buy them (besides the black market) There are still Drug Dealers and Drug abusers. The state/country does not have any rights to take your liberty away. That isn't just something the people in the U.S. should care about. The EU is rising and cutting your rights every time a new law is passed (which of course you didn't vote for).
