I think for the continued success of the human race testing on animals for research is the best option for to test new medicines. How will we ever figure out the cure for cancer without animals to test medicine on or deepen our understanding of diseases without anything to test treatments on. Obliviously I want the animals to be safe, but to test new medicines for the future is important and testing on animals is the best option we have right now.
