Fifth gen is stacked with monsters like hydreigon, ferrothorn, the kyurem a and b forms, the genies, darmanitan, and many others. Just because one pokemon is an ice-cream cone does not mean this gen is taking pokemon downhill. Plus N is the most badass champion and zekrom/volcarona are two of the coolest pokemon ever made. This gens metagame is fuckin dope and the story is great. the only downsides are poor graphics and shitty starters

A life sentence in canada is 25 years not life. I think the argument that wins this debate is this one: This choice should be given for 2 reasons
1. it doesn't hurt anyone besides the person with the choice
2. Its a choice, so not EVERYONE has to do it.
The point is this choice will only be made by people it would benefit, an exclusive group of people. Say a person has a disease and has a life expectancy of 20 years. They may just want to die then spend their life in jail. And because its just an alternative if it helps just one person in a million years it was worth it. Our system remains intact with maybe one or two people benefitting.

look, science is largely against god, and you've really only given two instances where it is for god. cells don't come from nothing. The first "cells" were bits of carbon based matter mixed with amino acids and they were extremely simple compared to our cells today. These cells weren't really living, they were the so simple they should not be thought of as "life". they just so happened to fill all the requirements of life (reproduce etc.). these things then evolved into the stuff that evolved into cells as we know them.

I do however believe in this particular game my countries team played their hearts out against a team who much outclassed them and it feels like their hard work was all for naught. they won bronze at least (our first ever medal in this event) however i still can't fathom the disappointment this team must feel.
