Etc. Congress passed a bill to ban online gambling in roundabout ways two years ago. I have been bitter ever since haha.

The government should legalize online gambling. Regulate and tax it. http://www.createdebate.com/debate/show/The_government_should_legalize_online_gambling_Regulate_and_tax_it#arg14825 Bill Frist go jump off a cliff. Instead of trying to ban online gambling, the United States government should be looking to legalize, regulate and tax it. More jobs. Less national debt.

Should prostitution be legalized? http://www.createdebate.com/debate/show/Should_prostitution_be_legalized#arg14823 I think it is too dangerous. Strip clubs are as far as it should go when it comes to that kind of thing.

Who knows God better? http://www.createdebate.com/debate/show/Who_knows_God_better#arg14599 Hmmm this is a tough one. There are several key figures in history who were both. Saint Augustine, Saint Thomas Aquinas, Dante Alighieri to name a few. I consider myself a philosophical thinker and a religious person myself. For me they contribute to each other.

I am going to say religious followers just for one reason. There are certain events that are more inclined to be experienced by devout religious followers than philosophers. Things like a theophany, stigmata, prophetic dreams and visions, etc. are associated with a religious follower more so than a straight up philosopher and so I am going to go with religious follower on this one. Whether you believe in theophanies, prophetic dreams and visions, etc. that is a whole different story. If they happened to you I am sure your opinion might change ;). Again, people can be both.

Beware Of Men Who Use Fear To Gain Power http://www.createdebate.com/debate/show/Beware_Of_Men_Who_Use_Fear_To_Gain_Power#arg14595 Machiavelli has this to say:

"And that prince who, relying entirely on their promises, has neglected other precautions, is ruined; because friendships that are obtained by payments, and not by greatness or nobility of mind, may indeed be earned, but they are not secured, and in time of need cannot be relied upon; and men have less scruple in offending one who is beloved than one who is feared, for love is preserved by the link of obligation which, owing to the baseness of men, is broken at every opportunity for their advantage; but fear preserves you by a dread of punishment which never fails."

Was the world really created by god or the big bang theory? http://www.createdebate.com/debate/show/Was_the_world_really_created_by_god_or_the_big_bang_theory#arg14594 Hello I am new to createdebate. Nice to meet you all. I will argue against the big bang theory if I may. Well sort of. Sure the universe could have started as a tiny dense ball that exploded. I don't have a problem with that. But what of the space around the tiny dense ball? After all, the tiny dense ball is the origin of time and space. How can you have time and space surrounding the tiny dense ball if the origin for time and space is within the tiny dense ball? Where can you find any room to explode? Something has to pre-exist time and space to create it. Something has to be timeless and spaceless. I simply ask you to think about time and space creation without getting caught in an infinite logical loop.
