Hey,
Thanks for that info. I literally noticed that about ten minutes before your reply to me. :-P Always the way, huh? That's why the site seemed to be broken. Anyway, good stuff.
Cheers,
Adam.
Alright dude. How's it going?
I've come back from being away for a few weeks and the site seems a bit... broken. New Activity isn't displaying the newest activity. Recent isn't displaying newly created debates, etc. Is everything going okay or are there some issues? Also, you should introduce some way for people to hide all of the election stuff, as being from the UK, local elections don't interest me at all. I feel that subject could put a lot of potential non-US users from joining and using the site.
Cheers,
Adam.
No problem. Just wanted to bring it up for other users who might get a little bugged. ^_^
I would have never thought you would yell "busted" and compliment someone on what he said when he was completely out of line. He took that quote from the second article I linked to. It was not in what I posted!
I see by Bradf0rd's message he thinks CD belongs to himself and you ("our"). What a crock!
Today's my 600'th point day!!!
thanks ! i love dancing with both right now but i have a feeling its going to get hard to maintain doing both.
Hey Loudacris,
Please let me know your opinion on this debate.

I like the new advertisement packages. I might actually need to buy a few. Or maybe a banner swap?
are you a creator of createdebate?
Thank you very much...
We did tweak the most persuasive and most provocative algorithm's recently. The results look a little wonky right now but I am confident it will improve over time. Use the "Activity Period" options to look at most persuasive today or this week or this month and you'll see it makes sense.
Dude, click Poeple > Most Persuasive and take a gander at those results. That doesn't look right. Is your formula wonky? Or am I just nitpicking today?
Ah well it seems alright now. Will let you know if it happens again. Thanks!
Is it just me or are the menu links acting up on CD today?
oh. ahah. [x
i'd rather not. c[:
what do you mean by that ? lol. :D
LOL you posted to my debate before I could even send out invites. You're too fast, man!
Howdy. Is there a way to post more than one link within the link posting framework thingy, or should additional links simply be placed in the body of the argument? And if it's the latter, is there anything I need to know about formatting lest I break the internets?
How can I go about inviting people to my debate?
Hey! I like you quote above!
Yeah I either forget it or when I joined my email adress was not spelled right and I don't know how I mispelled it. I am going more foe the Email being worng myslef.
Just a heads up; I've run into another link problem. I provide it here so that you might be able to better determine what the problem may be by, perhaps, seeing if it has something in common with the last link that didn't work. Not sure if that's how debugging works, but anyway, here's the link:

Hey, i saw your post on Xaeon's profile. Um. . . well i think that the "most provacative" algorithm is a bit. . . well off. . .
Did you get one of these yet???
Or am I special..?
I must be doing something right .

Nah, I sent it to Bryan (you?) in a reply to the original e-mail notifying us that we were candidates for the gig, but I'll just c&p;the relevant part here:
I have run into a problem with links; although I can submit certain links, your page says that the following link:
http://blog.wired.com/ 27bstroke6/2006/06/ your_own_ person.html?entry_ id=1512499
... is "invalid." Perhaps I am doing something wrong?
Howdy. Not sure if you guys got my e-mail about this, but I've noticed what may be a problem with the link function. Let me know if you need details, because it's possible that I'm simply doing some wrong on my end.
Hey dude.
I think you guys have broken some of the people categories, as they are displaying completely different results than a few days ago. Could you check it out?
Cheers,
Adam.
Oh. Alright. Just curious cuz I didn't get any response to my last message. But ya, I'm glad to know you at least got it. [:
BTW, what did you think of my idea for the Reward-Point usage?
Oh. Alright. I know a little about algorithms already but it couldn't hurt seeing how you did it. [:
Ah. I see. Alright.
Oh, also, I have some great ideas about the site. Where would be the best place to direct these?
Hey dude, would you be able to take a few minutes to explain the algorithms used to calculate each "peoples" category? I'm interested in what factors are taken into account for each section.
Cheers,
Adam.
Who decides who goes where under the "People" specific cadegories? Because it seems like an aweful amount of work to me. Trying to find the right place for everyone on CD under a specific cadegory! Or is it generalized somehow?
Thanks for the confidence! That's great to hear :]
Hey man, this site is awesome :]
Write something to Loudacris... Now, how cool is that...I will come and visit when you get up and running. You know how opinionated and rantiful I am...(wink).
Won't keep you away from your work....
Southern smiles and world peace,

Thank you. I felt like that needed to be clarified!
Oh. Ok. Thanks. [:
Really? Because I tried posting a comment on PolicyDebate's profile and it said that it exceeded the 500 character limit. . .
And you are partially correct. The picture is Joker putting a "smile" on Pikachu's face. [;
Has the 1000 character been reduced to 500 again? ]:
Thanks for the tip. Will tag accordingly in the future.
Sorry. I haven't seen any rules dealing with profanity. He's made 6 debates on senate races and has not made a single argument of his own. It is annoying.
Haven't heard from you in a while...you ok, out here in cyberland?
Sharon
~The Baby Boomer Queen~
yea, it isn't very user friendly at all/
have you seen this?
spoiledjuice.com is fully launched and our wdnw site will be done in about 2 weeks.
Hey soz bout misunderstanding i had no idea what i done sorry
why am i your enemy when i have done absolutely nothing wrong against you of what i know of???
Good stuff. It was actually JoeCavalry's debate orginally but he had malformed characters in the debate title. I was waiting for him to repost it but unfortunately he didn't, so I felt I should post it as it is something that I am quite interested in. Especially as GWB recently passed a law to pardon himself from any future war crimes or torture tribunerals. That's just unbelievable.
Alright. What I mean is in the User Agreement it states "User may not link to the Website in any manner that would bypass Company's home page. User may not "frame" the Website or any portion thereof." I may be misunderstanding what it means, but what I get from it is that it is saying is that the User is not allowed to give a link that goes to any other portion of this website other than the homepage (www.createdebate.com)
Like rules are cool and all, but how many of them are enforced? Just ones that protect this website from seeming to be offensive and rude right? I'm not trying to be hypocritical, I'm just simply pointing out, from my perspective, things in those rules that aren't as fully enforced compared to others. [;
Dang! The offensive stuff is the best stuff to debate about too! Lol. It's all cool though. But like I said, half of that stuff is broken every day by many users. Especially, I've noticed, is the linking to bypass the company's home page.
I'm confused. That was marked as spam, but my other one "Should fat people considered Handicap?" debate was not. Please show me this agreement one more time so that I may read over it.
Hi Loudacris, I either did something wrong or there's a bug in the code. I can't get to:
Bush; guilty of war crimes?
it seems that it doesn't like the semicolon
The url looks weird after I post it. And also when I click the link the page is opened, but it doesn't jump to the correct section like it should (the section on African Americans).
I'm using Firefox 3, maybe it's a browser specific issue?
I'm going to simply paste the full url here and hit post:
http://en.wikipedia.org/ wiki/ Democratic_Party_(United_ States)#African_Americans #African_Americans)
So..., do i get some kind of prize for breaking 1000? I could use a hand/finger message (I've got typist cramps :). I'd even settle for a glass of water and a bathroom break :)
Ok! Thank you!
