That requires me to jump to another page. If it's in one tab I would have to go back and refresh to get rid of them. If it's in another tab, just close the tab and refresh the page.

Either way it's tedious when it doesn't have to be, maybe I'm just lazy.

If you click on the link (debate or argument) in the alert view then that item should get dismissed automatically.

Hey, I've been thinking it would be a good idea to add the ability to dismiss particular instances under the "New Argument Activity" and "New Debate Activity"...

Also, the star that makes a debate public (outside of a community) doesn't show up for Safari 4 beta, Opera 9, and in Firefox only shows your community... I couldn't select a "global" community, or the main site... Using Leopard, btw.

Yeah, there's a little problem, I realized a while ago... I don't have Leopard anymore, I went back to Tiger, so I lost Dashcode. So I downloaded the digg widget and hollowing it out and replacing it with hand written code... TEDIOUS.

Yes, that's exactly what I mean... I threw something together really fast, and this is what I have so far... look @ the dashboard tray thingy because that's pretty much the only place you'll see the actual icon that I asked you for.
