I felt as though your apathetic comment was contagious. I felt like if students saw your post, they would feel like it was ok to have no opinion because the election was going to be over in 12 hours. The election's ending time was irrelevant to the debate. The students still needed to state who they think should have been president. You did not provide any commentary to benefit the discussion. Moments after you posted your comment. I had one of my students post a similar post. I'm trying to deter my students from making post such as yours. I apologize if you were offended. In the future, I will make all of our class discussions closed. This is a shame because we had several createdebate members from outside of our classroom provide very insightful feedback for my students.
