I've been having some really weird things going on on the site. Yesterday I posted a few arguments, logged off, and logged on about an hour later, and I had about five arguments with 12 upvotes each. While this was awesome for my efficiency, I really don't think this was the work of someone actually upvoting my arguments, especially since it was in the middle of the night. A similar thing just happened today, about five minutes ago. This time, there were about five arguments with 9 upvotes each. Another thing that has been happening, oddly always at the same time this mysterious upvoting happens, my own arguments are displayed as responses under my "New Argument Activity" section. They are, of course, not responses, but just my own arguments.

I just wanted to let you know in case it was something you could fix, or something that you need to know.

Hey. I have a request. I am in this english class and we are discussing the internet asa good public sphere. Our current assignment involves going to a site such as createdebate.com and having a discussion/argument, whatever. It is due by Thursday and it doesn't have to be a long and drawn out thing. I was wondering what can be done about blind downvoting on the site. JakeJ has literally admitted to instantly downvoting every one of my arguments regardless of the content. My efficiency on this site is important to me, as it quantifies my ability as a debator, and gives me something to strive towards (and improve my debating skill). We all may have different opinions, but the voting should be a reflection of your ability to get your point across and back up that point with valid and relevant sources, not whether you agree or not with the conclusion reached.

I enjoy this site, but unless this issue gets resolved, I'm gone. I fear you'll also lose a large majority of the more capable debators unless something is done.
