P.S. If my calculations are correct, JAL's montly revenue is about 1 billion US dollars. If the guy paid himself 10 times as much, he would still be taking less than 1% of total revenues. CEO pay is not a significant expense for most corporations. Cutting his pay is mostly just symbolic.

Well I grew up in an area that was 98% Mexican immigrants, if that counts. But no, I've never been outside North America. I fail to see your point, however. Are you suggesting that selfishness doesn't exist in China or Pakistan?
