I think mixed age relationships should be allowed. I am against the age of consent & statuatory rape laws.
I believe in free love. Is that enough?
I do not like homosexuals. My view on them is "I may not agree with how you live but I will fight for your right to live that way"
In America (PC the US) the age of consent is 18. If you're 16 & have sex with another 16 year old that is illegal.
But if you're 18 & you have sex with a 60 year old that is perfectly legal.

Thank you for being apart of my debates.
But please write numbers as numbers & not words.
For example 18 instead of eighteen.
I never expected to be taken seriously ;)
OK, I found out what I was doing wrong. The animation cannot be greater than 150 X 150 pixels.
I can't get that to work as my picture. I'm not sure why.
Well..., I was going to go with this icon until halloween but I'll change it.... just for you ;)
BTW, it's a dirty job but someone has to create debates ;)
I have no idea what happened to kukla.
I like your argument about sexism/racism. I think you are very insightful and intelligent.
I'll answer you frankly and seriously here.
I'm reaaal old school. Like your parents or grandparents. I believe in all that traditional family bullcrap. Thats how it works. I'm not an actual sexist but in todays terms I am. Idc.. until the definition changes it doesn't mean nothing to me. I'm not racist either. I got friends of every race and we get along, not by setting aside our cultural differences and religions etc. but by taking the piss out of each other and understanding them. The thing about westerners is they say there AREN'T any differences. I say there ARE.. but it doesn't matter in the short term.
You just seem to have had a pro-life bent lately.
Anyway, there'a difference between stupidity and having viable options. In many third-world countries, women don't have education about contraceptives or other types of sex. This is very much a problem in sub-Saharan Africa- women don't have access to birth control, and if they ask their partner to use a condom, they face refusal, rape, or abandonment. These women need their partners/husbands as financial support, and cannot afford to refuse sex. It's not always stupidity, and it can be as much of a risk to refuse sex as to have an unplanned pregnancy- though, given her situation, that may be close to a death sentence as well.
No one wants limited options, and it's not stupid to pick the least bad option.
ALSO, you're falling into a typical western view of sexuality in which the women is solely responsible for birth control and sexual safety. but we could have that conversation later.
Hmmm, a few random thoughts.
1. How can I be pro-life when I have advocated the extermination of stupid people?
2. How stupid does a woman have to be that she would risk her life by engaging in intercourse as opposed to oral or manual sex?
3. By restricting abortions (step 2 above) I can achieve my goal (step 1 above ;)
I've been slacking off.
You can absolutely get involved, in any number of ways. Just speaking out is a very important way of getting involved! Many cities also have women's centers, sexual assault intervention organizations, and rape crisis hotlines that need volunteers. Organizing awareness campaigns or writing an article on rape education for your school paper are also great ways to get involved. And most of all, intervening if you see someone at risk is an incredibly important way to get involved.
Thank you for your message -- it's very kind. The more people speak out about what it means to consent to sexual activity, the more we can all help to prevent sexual assaults. It's especially gratifying to me when I meet high-school or college-age people who are already discovering that, and taking it seriously.
:)
Haha, I'm under no obligation, just trying to make you feel welcome :)
