Which kind of debate do you want to create about this link?
2-Sided Debates are designed for issues that can be broken down into two distinct sides.
For best results, the debate title should be framed in the form of a question where both
sides are reasonable answers. People will submit arguments to support a specific side.
The most convincing arguments will be voted up to the top of each side.
Here are the default rules (most can be tweaked later in the Moderator Panel):
- Everybody can view and participate
- Users can submit multiple arguments for each side
- Users may cast only one vote for each argument
- The debate will never end
Popularity Contests are designed for issues that cannot be reasonably broken down into a discrete number of sides.
For best results, the debate title should be framed as an open-ended question. People will submit arguments
in an attempt to craft the best possible answer. The best answers will be voted up to the top.
