Although I agree there should be some sort of minimum wage I think jumping to $15 would be crippling. We need to take small steps, not giant ones. And I'd rather see it rise (and potentially fall sometimes) related to cost of living adjustments calculated at routine intervals, such as every 5 years for example.
$15 for $7 work. How "noble". Looks like a great way to run businesses out of your state or country. Why pay $15 when you can pay way less elsewhere...liberal geniuses...
Capitalism can still exist with a 15 dollar an hour minimum wage - implementing this doesnt require a change in ideological unless you cant think outside the right-left paradigm.
