This civil war is very different than the last one. There are no cannons or cavalry charges. The left doesn’t want to secede. It wants to rule. Political conflicts become civil wars when one side refuses to accept the existing authority. The left has rejected all forms of authority that it doesn’t control ...The left has rejected the outcome of the last two presidential elections won by Republicans. It has rejected the judicial authority of the Supreme Court when it decisions don’t accord with its agenda. Hello kettle: Meet pot. What you say may be so, and NONE of it is illegal, immoral or unpatriotic.. May I remind you that the very night Obama was inaugurated, Mitch McConnell and his right wing caucus were meeting to agree to BLOCK each and every piece of legislation Obama and the left proposed... And, that's what they did.. I guess you forgot that.. excon I don't know of any liberals that think it was "not legit", as far as the vote was concerned. It was the lies and innuendos leading up to the vote that was not legit. However WE know it's over. We know we're stuck with an incompetent President ... so be it. We'll take our lumps. We only hope that the ORIGINAL Constitution survives (the one we go by), so that we can repair the country when he's gone. IF, that is, the country (and world), still exists. We would not withstand another civil war with Putin salivating to crush democracy. He would, like he did the election, bend the result to HIS liking! A tragedy for democracy. So take out your Second Amendment rights, and begin. I'm too old to worry about how YOU conservatives think America should be "great". I lived in it when it WAS great, from 1937 to 1980, when it went bad. I think what's happening here right now is a rejection of the United State's form of democracy, which will lead to civil unrest with escalating levels of violence. Some ethnic ''clinger on' groups can see that their gravy train is coming into the end of the line station and are kicking violently against President Trump's policies which promote an environment in which self reliance and hard work will flourish. The problem just now is that the lefties seem to be better organised than the moderates with their misinformation being spewed out by their highly efficient propaganda machine which is enjoying more success than the counter measures employed by America's hard working silent majority. As the left wing anarchists become more desperate so the levels of their violent demonstrations will increase. However, the big weakness of the loonie lefties is that as their demonstrations become progressively more violent, which they will, the true subversive nature of their movement will become more apparent and they will lose the support from their own rank and file. Give the filth enough rope and they'll hand themselves. article ..... It (the left) rejected the Constitution so long ago that it hardly bears mentioning. It was for total unilateral executive authority under Obama. And now it’s for states unilaterally deciding what laws they will follow. (As long as that involves defying immigration laws under Trump, not following them under Obama.) It was for the sacrosanct authority of the Senate when it held the majority. Then it decried the Senate as an outmoded institution when the Republicans took it over. It was for Obama defying the orders of Federal judges, no matter how well grounded in existing law, and it is for Federal judges overriding any order by Trump on any grounds whatsoever. It was for Obama penalizing whistleblowers, but now undermining the government from within has become “patriotic” ....... article |
