Activist vs. Anti Activist

Now, this podium could be filled with different types of activist and anti activist, but the debate lyes within the paramenter of what you believe in. If you are an educated human and have any sense of passion or compassion you will have an opinion. However there is a way to have your opinion and your perspective be heard and better yet be acted on and enforced if need be. The barriers to have your opinion validated these days is complex and difficult, without having someone be against what you believe in or be ignorant to the facts at hand. For instance social media has allowed freedom of speech be taken to a level that is not cusioned by laws or governering prejudice. An unprecented tragedy has to occur for this to be engaged in a way that the public get outrafed enough to have something done about it. This could be the gun laws, child pedophiles, drug offenses, the list can go on. Attacking someones character personally seems to be a trend in popular defenses instead of addressing the core problems. This stems from cultural differences to racism, to uneducated biases. Everyone is entitled to their opinion however just because you believe it does not make it right or accepted. I will not disclose the names because I refuse to give them amunition for more targeted hatred but there are groups out there that believe child predators should be left alone if and after they are registered and convicted. WRONG , These people are getting away with even having an opinion because the social media and old laws have not caught up to technology. When you do something wrong you have a consequence, if that consequence affects another humans life in a derrogatory manner harmful or hurtful you should be punished, this is not a third world country where we are not educated, rich, powerful and  uncivilized. Just because a person gets caught doing something so severly wrong they are punished to the extent of what the law allows(right now)
