I think these are an unfair assessment of cops being bad. Those videos shows people resisting arrest. The people who are being beaten treated the cops like they were buddies when in actuality the cop is there to ARREST them. Any resistance is completely stupid and the criminals got what was coming to them. I don't think they should have beaten those people like that, but I saw a bunch of people pulling their arms away, or hitting cops, or running, or holding weapons and not listening. I still don't view criminals very highly. Side: I still respect cops

I didn't catch much of that in the video. Not exactly sure what the case against the man who received 40+ bullets was but, I can tell you that the cops were either a) incompetent and lazy b) planning to shoot him together c) guilty of murder or d) all of the above. I don't think they should have beaten those people like that, but I saw a bunch of people pulling their arms away, or hitting cops, or running, or holding weapons and not listening. Some were mentally ill and one slapped a cop in a wheel chair which apparently warrants four or five full force punches by a man who actually has use of his hips and then tried to justify it by calling the slap assault.. What did the cop do? According to the self defense clause. You are only allowed to use the same amount of force that is being used on you to defend yourself. That man was clearly incapable of performing anything more then a slap and extremely weak punches. What about the ones who were in no condition to fight back anymore and the cops took turns beating the already subdued suspect? They have no right or authority to even do that. I still don't view criminals very highly. You're a criminal, just to clarify. If you have ever broken the law you are a criminal. As it stands right now the law is nearly impossible to follow because there are so many laws on just about anything a human is capable of doing. The law is being designed this way. I think what you mean to say is you don't view people who are being confronted by law enforcement very highly. Side: I'm having second thoughts

That guy was holding a weapon (ok, just a knife). He was told a bunch of times by something like 7 armed and guns drawn police officers to put the knife down. He decides it is a good idea to ignore the cops and walk away. He was also in a fight stance which was mentioned by the camera guy. He did not deserve to be shot though. I guess I would have to say a for the cops and that the suspect was incredibly incompetent. It really sucks, but don't touch cops. It was excessive, but again the suspect was an idiot. Think about it. Anyone who does not care if they attack a cop is very likely not going to care if they attack a civilian and should be considered more dangerous. Is the self defense clause only for civilians? I think what you mean to say is you don't view people who are being confronted by law enforcement very highly. I don't view the people who confront law enforcement highly. I only saw 2 people who didn't do something that wouldn't be considered dishonoring the law. Your statement is probably correct, too. Those guys don't get arrested unless they have done something, right? Obviously there will be some that are wrongfully arrested, but it is a general feeling I have. Like the 1 video where the cop kicks the guy right in the chest. The cop yells out that the guy had beaten up a woman the night before. Side: I still respect cops

I can't see how a war on terror is not targeting law enforcement. What I seen here was shocking, belligerent, disgusting, unwarranted, cruel, and disturbing. Never have I ever thought it would take 40+ shots to immobilize a target for peaceful restraint. Side: I'm having second thoughts
There were a couple cases in there where it was really bad. When the cop put down his coffee and slammed the kid into the lockers, that was ridiculous. When the cop ran out of nowhere and kneed the guy in the head, that was bad. Maybe not the knee to the head, but yelling at the guy to move so he can kick his ass. Side: I'm having second thoughts

I agree there are some that can be respected but, I've watched a cop literally chase someone off a cliff (yes, he dove off the cliff after him, the suspect died and the cop lived) here in Niagara falls. To me it's not about safety to themselves or others, its biased and selfish safety to themselves at the expense of others. And when you learn that it was over a possession of marijuana (also a warrent), you start to think to yourself. Was apprehending this suspect worth both your lives? http://www.niagarafallsreview. I think what people have to remember that these are 'cops': police from the USA. The mentality there is very much that if you're a criminal you don't deserve rights. Therefore whatever a police office does to them is alright. They're the heroes against the bad guys. Side: I'm having second thoughts
