Anyone complicit in illegal activity knew what they were doing and deserve whatever punishment the rest of law abiding society gives them.

It is clearly the duty of of a lawful employer to discern whether or not his/her employees are legally entitled to work in the country. If it was not his/her duty then every company could just hire illegal workers and save lots of money.

The onus of honesty clearly goes to the person with the education to understand what they are doing. If a person grows up in the US and learns all the appropriate laws for conduct and then ignores these rules, they are at least as culpable perhaps even more.

Punishment should be nothing less than expulsion.

If those persons were Russian and you looked the other way as they set up their hateful messages targeted at Democratic leaders, perhaps you even worked alongside them, we would call you a Treason, and we would be fully within our right to torture you to death, by American Law.

It might be a good idea in the future to find out what kind of people your having dealing with.
