In the beginning, America was weak, barely able to defend itself and exhausted from a revolution they just barely won. They only beat a small fraction of britain's power, and only by a small margin. After that they had some growing to do before they could proceed west to plunder mexican land and murder native americans. After they finished slaughtering and exploiting primitive tribes and other assorted poor brown people, they started murdering each other and split into two nations. When they finally go their shit back together they proceeded to never win any war against anyone ever unless they are third world countries. in WW2 it was the USSR that played the biggest role in defeating Nazi Germany. WOW! THAT'S a history lesson I'm glad I missed! At least the last third! Where would the Russians have been without "Lend-Lease"? Anyway, it was a CONCERTED EFFORT that won the war! We ALL did our part … even ME! (I collected milk weed pods to make parachutes and bought "War Bonds"). When they said "Hit the Silk", it meant hit the milkweed! (Japan had all the silk!). Anyway, WE had TWO wars to fight. Russia slapped the Germans pretty hard WITH OUR HELP. And WE destroyed the German manufacturing infrastructure.
