Andrew Jackson- Jackass or Brotacular?
Andrew Jackson is a figurehead generally upheld in modern society. He increased the size of the United States during his presidency and is also the Strategic Genius behind the victory at New Orleans during the War of 1812. Hes also on the back of the American Ten Dollar Bill and is heralded as the creator, one way or another, of the Modern Democratic Political Party in America. However, he caused much of the economic Turmoil that exists up to even today and destroyed the Credit Framework of America and the American System Set up by many a president before him. He is also disclaimed for his many acts disregarding the US Constitution and acting on whim. Whats your take on the historical figure?

Andrew Jackson was NOT a good guy in American Presidential History. He blatantly destroyed many of the Institutions already in place in America before he came into the Presidency, including the Second Bank of the United States and the American System Taxes and Tarrifs set up to protect American Industry, though somewhat indirectly. He also acted more than once unconstitutionally, once when he removed the Cherokee's from their home, another when he disregarded the Decision of the Supreme Court on the Cherokee State and yet another time when he occupied Florida and exterminated the Seminoles in the state without the consent of the Government. Hes not that great of a dude. Side: WTF DREW WHAT IS THIS?!
