My crude comment was not against the many Arabs and Muslims who are tolerant. Im just inclined to come out swinging when a theocratic idea is promoted. I enjoy thet Arabic language and often criticize my own faith too, so no Islamaphobia comments, okay? Side: Down with theocracy!

This could be interpreted as yet another step towards the Islamization of western society. Apple's pandering to the whims of Muslims may retain their business but on the other side of the coin they could lose sales to non-Muslims. ''What they make on the swings, they lose on the roundabouts'' They should have ignored the veiled threats from Muslims that they would boycott their products, let the easily offended moaners run out of steam and continued business as usual. I don't have a problem with it really so what? They have white, yellow, red, green and other coloured emoticons so if Muslims feel they need their own to express themselves coherently when texting then let them have them. But they should be reminded before using them though that the use of emoticons is forbidden by fatwa, I discovered this whilst Googling all the Muslim emoticon controversy, I can't believe people are really getting that upset about this, some to the point of saying they are now going to never buy Apple products again. Jeez I truly believe the human race is doomed!! Side: Allah hu snackbar!
