If you want a smartphone, go for Google smartphone (known as Nexus). Google, unlike Samsung, aim specifically for performance and memory space and aim far less for flashy features that basically no one other than professionals who are essentially replacing their laptop with a tablet or smartphone will use. There is also another reason why Google phones are always more efficient than the more expensive Samsung or even cheaper makes: Google essentially owns Android. They have a lot of deals with Android that have led to Android phones always coming with Google Chrome and Google voice search etc. The reason that I say 'essentially' is that unlike Apple, Google doesn't necessarily 'own' your texts, that is because your texting service on an Android is not owned by Android itself whereas iPhones use 'iMessage'. Anyways, since Google owns Android, their phones are often build to support the next build coming up a lot better hardware-wise than Samsungs are. You can update your software (Apple never let you update smartphone software, they force you to buy a new one). Google also ends up forcing you to buy new smartphones but that is because app-makers make it for newer Android versions and dont bother to always make things compatible with previous ones (not due to Google not providing). I've never been an Apple fan. Overpriced POS's for what? Status? But then I live in the mountains and I barely use a smart phone but in terms of computers, no way. I deal with tech calls for a career and Apple products are by far the worst for dealing with systems that aren't specifically designed for Apple. Side: Im with ya!

Well it makes a difference because they all have their own style and they aim to sell to different kinds of users. Apple has been like the sort of smart-phone idiots, who just want a phone that looks good and works well. But these past few years they have lost their touch, they make out of date technology and it's just not cool at all. Apple has lost a ton of fanboys. Side: Im with ya!
