After working with them, they are consistently late, and seemingly based on numbers pulled out of thin air. ComScore doesn't take responsibility for the power they have on the industry of being the so-called "industry standard". As shown by the TechCrunch article, they have the ability to affect real life numbers, like stock prices.

I have used comScore metrics in the past. In my opinion, they are inherently flawed. comScore metrics are based on sampling, which is ridiculous because they aren't trying to measure TV, they are trying to measure website traffic, which can be tracked directly and precisely!
