I believe government is necessary for millions of reasons, but I'll just name three. First off, the government establishes justice that is reasonable, fair, and impartial. Without the government to establish justice, all countries would fall apart since nothing is stopping them from accusing somebody. Races will be discriminated against without a fair trial. Government needs to be there to ensure fairness. Second, government provides the common defense to the people. If there was no government, everyone will eventually die, since there is no government securing violence and protecting the people. Finally, the government makes laws that are beneficial to the nation. These laws can be interpreted, and executed if needed. Laws protect the people from anything crucial. No government means no laws can be made and enforced. This will make nations into more of a primitive type. No rules can regulate them, and so they go wild and the whole nation falls apart. Every nation absolutely needs a government, because they help situations be fair, protect the people of violence that is occurring, and make laws that keep people behaved that will benefit the nation.

Yes, government is in fact good. I believe that government is necessary due to the fact that even though some laws might be disagreed upon, the majority are important. Without the government i don't believe that we would successfully be able to make important decisions without fighting and possibly even murdering each other. Secondly, the management of roads, schools, health of people, and foreign relations would be destroyed as time goes on. I argue that government is important to keep people from mass killing, and harming of others. Because people, in my believe, are naturally selfish, they would most likely begin to put themselves and there family's above others, which might lead to more feuding between communities.

To me, the government has been and always will be necessary for many reasons. To begin with, the government has been keeping unity and as much stability as they can from the past to now. Without this unity present, there would be total chaos throughout the whole country, causing an increase in many issues such as crime/murder, constant disagreements and your everyday life would change for the worse. Adding onto the increase in crime/murder, the security would be at a minimum, making you always fearful. With that being said, thid would overall change the way people live. Disagreements would be an everyday event without a government. I say this because viewpoints without a government would be extremely two-sided, while with a government, many were forced to be one sided and go along with decisions. Your everyday life would be changed on many levels. First, your trash would stay on your curb because the government would not be there to pick it up. Next, you wouldn’t know if your water would be good to drink because you don’t know where it has been and if it is purified. As a result, the government is extremely necessary for the previous examples and reasons stated above.

I think that government is necessary for many reasons. If we didn’t have a government, the world would be filled with chaos. The government hires people such as police, so there would be crime everywhere. Wars would constantly be declared; the government would no longer decide if it was a just reason for war. Another reason why we need the government is so that we know what is safe. Something as simple as drinking water out of the faucet, or seeing what the weather is for the day- the government makes sure the water doesn’t have bacteria, or in case of severe weather storms, that you are safe and prepared. All in all, I believe that government is necessary to keep people safe and the world at peace.

Government is necessary for any well-run state and or area. The Government helps keep everyone in order and safe. Without a Government the land would be filled with disasters, and would later come crumbling down. The Government was not put into place to go against anybody, the Government was solely established to work for the greater benefactors. Some may think that the government does more harm than good, when really they establish justice, provide for all, ensure the power, and protect rights of their fellow citizens, as stated in the Constitution. The Government also helps to keep everything in order, within their area. Without the Government, people would have to live by being insecure and worrisome. Having taken a look at what the world would be like without a Government, it is fair to say that I would not want to live in such a world. The Government does so much for us, stuff that we never would have relayed back to them. The Government provides us with the educational needs we all truly need, in order to become successful. They also supply us with a wide variety of jobs. Without them, many people would jobless. They also provide us with safety. The Police Force and Farmers work for them. Could you ever imagine a world where crime was legal, or a world where it was not safe to eat certain foods? The Government provides for us all, to help us, without them we would be a lost cause. The world would be dangerous and corrupt without a Government. In conclusion, I believe that having a Government is very necessary for a well-run state.

Government is absolutely necessary and has been in practice since the creation of humans themselves and will continue shaping the lives of us until our extinction. Even if a government suddenly collapses and chaos ensues with violence and uncertainty, groups of people will unite together and start to create a social hierarchy that will eventually lead to the creation of a primitive government. For this reason, government is obligatory due to the fact humans have an innate calling for the organization that government provides. Furthermore, it is difficult to comprehend the important role that government plays in our lives. One of the most important roles of government is to ensure the safety of the people, which the government does in many aspects such as providing us with clean drinking water, food regulations, transportation laws, welfare for people who need it, low income housing, laws on violence, crime control, and vast gamuts of regulations that keep us safe. Government also keeps peace throughout a country with a set of checks and balances and providing the people with a voice that can rebuke laws that they deem as unfair. Courts also allow for the people to even challenge laws and regulations proposed by the government if they feel as though their voice is not heard enough. Though there are many different types of government, from a democracy, republic, oligarchy, dictatorship, monarchy, or any other formal structure in society, there is a truth that remains, government provides order that keeps a nation prosperous and avoids anarchy. So if you find yourself asking if government is necessary, think about how government allows us to take even the simplest of things for granted.

Nonsense. You are the third person in less than a week I have seen make this same bold claim, and tellingly, none of you have provided any evidential support for it. You feel the way you do only because the human race has been indoctrinated into accepting systems of hierarchy as normal.

Even if a government suddenly collapses and chaos ensues with violence and uncertainty, groups of people will unite together and start to create a social hierarchy that will eventually lead to the creation of a primitive government

You are talking about exactly the same principle which creates and proliferates gang culture. It is the human survival instinct which causes people to band together in times of crisis, but the hierarchy part you've just thrown in for good measure. It is entirely optional and originated from the biggest guy taking advantage of the smallest guy.

For this reason, government is obligatory due to the fact humans have an innate calling for the organization that government provides.

One could equally make the same argument about monarchs, or dictators, who are also good organisers. Your argument is false, since the existence of monarchs, dictators and government is precisely what precludes the people becoming organized on their own. In fact, your argument seems to be centred upon the false assumption that the government "organises" the people based on the people's own wishes. In fact, the government "organises" the people based on the government's own wishes. The people's wish for freedom exceeds their wish for organisation and for this reason you are wrong.

I think that a government is necessary and good for a country because of all the work it does for the people, specifically the behind the scenes work. While Democracy allows many people to throw in their two cents and discuss what the government should and should not do, I think most everyone can agree that the conveniences that the government provides are necessary for societal function. Like that story we read in class demonstrated, imagine a world where there are no government regulations. You wouldn't know what exactly you were putting on your plate. You wouldn't know where your glass of milk came from, much less where all the tap water in your house is coming from, or if it is safe to drink. There would be no police force or fire department to protect citizens and enforce order and peace. Companies that know that they are necessary for public function can drive their prices up without penalty. The government provides regulations and sanctions that help the public function, along with emergency services that keep people healthy and safe. In conclusion, I believe that a government is necessary for a country to function, and creates many opportunities for a country to flourish.

Although our society wouldn't be completely chaotic without a government it is still necessary. The government provides many things to its citizen such as insurance and health care and financial aid. As well as protection and overall safety of the state and the individual citizens. The government also must maintain peace and order, without government there would be a higher level of crime. After a crime is committed it is the government's job to put the person on trial and create a fitting punishment. A state's infrastructure and environment is also maintained by the government, roads, railroads, public buildings (schools), national parks, shelters and other benefits for the society are built. For these reasons and many more our government is necessary.

I believe government is necessary in this world today because without it, we won't be safe. Many wars will happen, as in, very violent protests or fights that cause immediate death with no care in the world of others; no surrenders. As the word "War" goes, that cannot happen because we don't have any soldiers/citizens due to the amount of fights and no leader. This country will be total chaos and eventually in pieces by the time years and years roll around. For government to be established, you need a person to say what's best for your country, and to keep it intact. Our food needs to be checked by the Health and Disease Control services, to make sure we don't get very ill. Education and transportation is very important because children-adults need the amount of education given to succeed, and transportation to get places. Also, without all the 3 branches of government, we will not have any laws made or even thought about. We need Government so that our country can stay in order.

Yes, government is necessary in today's sociecty because because of many reasons. Without government, our world would fall because with no government means no leaders. No leaders, no congress, no supreme court, means no laws. People could do whatever they want and don't have to listen to any one. The government helps to run company's you don't even realize, including water and weather company's. Without government we wouldn't have these companies and life would be terrible. In conclusion, we need a government or else we would all end up killing each other.

I believe that government is necessary for a number of reasons. First, I believe that humans are imperfect and need a group of people to oversee them. Due to human nature, if we were to get rid of government, it is likely that a person or a group of people would gain power and eventually abuse their power. Humans can be greedy, which can lead to conflict, so we need guidelines to be put in place to maintain order throughout our population. We need a government that can share power within the people (Example: Democracy), where the people have a say in their government but are still overseen by laws and protocol. Also, without government it would be incredibly difficult to find and try the wrongdoers in our society and could possibly lead to a higher amount of criminal activity. Finally, we need government to help us achieve everyday jobs and protect our people by maintaining and controlling the quality of our drinking water, collecting trash, educating students in public schools, educating schools state colleges, and regulating our food. Without government, I strongly believe that it would be difficult for our country to function and be successful as a whole.

Government is necessary. Without government, we have no laws. Without laws, people can do whatever they want creating chaos. Without government, we have no roads. Without roads, transportation of goods and people would be difficult. Without government, we would not have regulations that keep us safe, such as inspections on food. Without government we would not have military to keep us safe from foreign invasions. Without government, people who have special needs would not get help. Not all government is good government. The best government is one where the people have the power by voting and electing officials so their voices are heard.

To understand why government is important to our everyday lifestyles and essential to maintaining society, one needs to understand what life would be like without it. A society without a government is practically nonexistent today, for good reason. A lack of government would mean people would only have themselves to answer to. No coalition between like-minded individuals or sense of security would alienate people, most likely causing one to fear others for one's own safety. This fear of danger would be present in more ways than that. Previously government-provided services, such as police, firefighters, and ambulances would no longer be accessible. Regulations on goods and services would be negated, and people would lose any trust or faith in these things. Overall, government is a fundamental part of our lives, and without it, our society would crumble.

No, not necessarily for good reason. This does not follow, else we would simultaneously have to admit there is good reason for the continuation of violence, war, crime, religion, superstition and the human appendix. It's circular reasoning: we have government therefore we need government.

I believe we need the government for our society to survive. The government provides us anything from housing to protection from foreign invaders. Right now the federal and state government of Texas are providing shelter to citizens who were effected by Hurricane Harvey. Without the government many people in Texas would be homeless and might die. Also, the government makes our daily lives a lot easier, by picking up trash, directing traffic, making safety regulations and so much more. Without trashmen the streets would be smelly and if no one is directing traffic then many people would get hurt. The government also cracks down on crime, without police officers and laws no one would be held accountable for their crimes . Those are just a few reasons why i think government is absolutely necessary.

Government does not provide those things. We the people provide those things. We build the houses and we become the soldiers. All government does is decide who is housed and which foreign country the soldiers should invade.

Yes, I believe that government is necessary. They control many companies and organizations that make things safer for us to be around and consume. The government also controls the laws and law enforcement, without those an increase crime and chaos would follow. People would also strive to gain power causing fights among themselves. There wouldn't be anyone to represent the country on a world scale either so we would be in a vulnerable situation. Without regulations anyone could enter the country, buy weapons, sell illegal substances, anything previously perceived as impossible would be possible. They also provide basic healthcare and insurance for many things such as homeowner and life insurance. So, as I said before, government is necessary in a country.

Without the government, we would be left without all of the services it provides such as emergency services, water and electrical companies, and jobs or welfare. We would have no financial system and no communication with other countries or militant safety the government provides. We would run out of food that can't be grown at home due to no one doing their jobs as well as no place to get things you cannot make yourself. Without laws or anyone to enforce them, it becomes "everyone for themselves". Given enough time, society may learn to function on its own without the government but likely, another government, or something like it, would be formed through time.

I think that government is necessary for many reasons. If we didn’t have a government, the world would be filled with chaos. Endless wars over who should be leader will happen which will cause massive unneeded bloodshed. There would be no safety everyone would be at each others thoughts. there would be no way to live because the food supply would all be filled with bacteria, the water supply would be unhealthy as well. I think that government is very necessary for society. It keeps everyone safe and under control. The government supplies a lot of things that we take for granted. Without government there would be no police keeping us protected, no weather forecast to help plan our day and roads would be falling apart with no one to fix them. Also, government supplies thousands of jobs across the country and without it, many people would be left homeless. This prove just how necessary government is because without it our country would be in chaos.

I believe that some of form of government is necessary for any group of people, big or small. Firstly, the government provides for the police and national guard. Without these two things communities would fall into chaos as people would steal anything they want and do anything they want. Secondly, the general health of the country would dramatically decrease. Since, the Center for Disease Control is run by the government, disease outbreaks would be much more common and dangerous. Also, no one would have health care which would leave millions of sick people not being able to afford proper care. Lastly, government is necessary because without it, driving on the road would become much more dangerous since the government provides for care of the roads and trash collectors as well. All in all, government is necessary because it keeps people safe, healthy, and it keeps the roads in good shape.

Government is definitely necessary for several reasons. It's true that without government there would be no restrictions on crime, resulting in "The Purge," but there is so much more that would go wrong. For instance, Government regulates nearly all business, education, and programs. These would collapse without government. A lack of business would therefore make it hard for millions of people to make money and live. Furthermore, it would be difficult to learn any skills for work without decent education. With all these potential financial problems along with violence and crime, there is no way that any country could survive without sufficient government.

Yes I do believe that it is necessary to have a government. The reason I believe it is a necessity is because I look at the government as the behind the scene jobs that the average citizen doesn't realize how much we truly need our government. We may not all agree on the laws and punishments that are applied, but they are all there to protect and help us. To give an example how important our government is, here are a few examples. Its the start of a new week, and you have to take out your trash, but you have noticed that your trash has been pilling up outside and the squirrels are tearing your bags up and trash is going everywhere. Well, if we had no government, we wouldn't have workers to come get rid of your smelly trash. Lets say you are thirsty, but wait! You cant drink that water because there is no government to make sure the water is clean and healthy to drink. There is hundreds to thousands to million things that our government does for our country and without them, this country would be very chaotic and in trouble and that is why I believe it is very important we maintain are very well developed government.

I believe the government is necessary because without it there would be chaos. Rules and laws would no longer be in place to keep the peace and protect the population. Without a distinct leader in place, there would be a struggle for power to control the country. Also, with human nature, it's easier to do more harm than good. Currency would be meaningless along with jobs and schools. We would likely be unable to function as a cohesive society.

Government is necessary because it provides a centralized structure for our rules of law. It also is needed because if we didn't have government, we could be lost/confused when it comes to leaders and laws. We would be in crisis and chaos due to no rules. Killings would occur more often and wars could break out at any moment. Violence would be everywhere and everyone could be able to speed and take illegal drugs on the street without having consequences. Everybody would just be unsafe in their own homes, something like the purge.

I believe government is very necessary in order to keep society running. First of all, Government puts regulations on almost everything we eat, drink and use on a daily basis. We wouldn't even be able to drink water because we wouldn't know if it was safe to drink or not. Also, the taxes we pay to the Government go to paying for police officers, firefighters, teachers, and a lot of other necessary things. Yes, I believe government is necessary but without it i think the world could function just not as well. First off government provides protection to all people through fire departments, police departments, and of course the military. With out those departments and military our rights as citizens could be in jeopardy and also the world would be much more dangerous because people would basically do what they wanted or there would always be rebels fighting people actually trying to help keep piece. Secondly, without government food would be much more dangerous to eat because there would not be any strict health codes, also milk and water would not be safe because they could have bacteria in them and water could have sewage in it because no one would be maintaining the sewage plants. Third, garbage would be all over the place because no one would be payed to clean it up and also schools would be much worse because they wouldn't be funded by the government and wouldn't be able to pay teachers. In conclusion, government makes the world a better and safer place and is necessary so people can live better lives.

For many reasons, I believe government is crucial. For any community of people, there is a need of organization to avoid major conflicts. Without government our world would be extremely chaotic and dirty. With no system of taxation, there would be no one to maintain the streets or pick up trash. There would be no rules to follow so crime would be a major issue. No food would be safe to eat without food policies and no water would be safe to drink. Even though I sometimes strongly dislike some of the rules that the government enforces, I do think that it is necessary. Without a government I believe that the United states would be in complete chaos. We would have no one regulating things like drinking water and food which could lead to mass sickness. Stores would all close because of looting and armed robberies. Whoever has guns would have all the power. Not only would the U.s be in chaos, we likely wouldn't even be the u.s anymore because we wouldn't have an army to defend ourselves.

I believe government is necessary for many reasons. For starters our government provides many jobs and services that allow for our daily live's to continue with ease. Some of those services being the Police department, Fire department and other health and wellness services. Just without the Police, someone could steal all of your food, supplies and then even kill you. Our government also tries to equalize every aspect in life to a certain degree. Government gives us all the same basic standards for education, taxation and also set a standard for other things too. Without the government companies could create monopolies and set the prices way too high to get as much money possible out of their consumers. The government would also set a healthy standard for drinkable water and food so that farmers don't put to much pesticides on the crops that could harm the consumer. Overall Government allows for our easy going lifestyle and therefore I believe it is necessary.

I believe that a type of government must be set in place to lead the population to a better place. With government, there are set rules citizens must follow, and if broken, punishments ensue. This is important because you can't just have people running all over the place doing whatever they want. Even though that sounds fun, that is just anarchy. Also, the government helps those in need when necessary. An example of this is going on right now. Hurricane Harvey is flooding Texas and the government of the United States is stepping in and giving them help with rescue teams and giving them shelter. All this is because the government is there. For a population the size of the US, I am convinced that government is necessary.

Yes, I believe government is necessary for our everyday lives to be able to run properly. Although life without a government sounds amusing, the undeniable truth is people need government to function and to feel safe. Without government, chaos, war, crime, and monopolies over industries could take place. Eventually, we would even lack a safe water supply and clean food sources. This could all happen because if government did not exist, the "chores" the government does would not be completed either. To prevent all this from happening, the people decide to give up some of their rights to the government in return for security, this is called the "Social Contract Theory".

I think government is necessary because without it we would have no authority to care for us and make sure we are well. For example, we wouldn't have any regulations on food and water and how clean it is, so we could get very sick and we wouldn't have any honesty so "doctors" could lie about their degree and there would be nothing we could do about it. Also, we would not have any day care or any government jobs. So many jobs would be lost leaving families poor and there would be nothing to do because school would also be abolished because it is run by the government. In all, without the government, we would all be doomed.

Yes, government is a necessary part of society. The government provides many things for the people. With out a government everyday tasks like knowing your water supply and food are safe would be hard decisions. The government has rules and regulations on food, water, cars, roads, stores, and countless other things. Some might think that these rules are redundant and unneeded, but with out them life would be less safe. Government provides protection for the people, which is another way citizens are kept safe. They are in charge of public services for instance, fire departments, police, national parks, public education, health care, and well fare programs. With out government none of these services would be made and make life much more hard.

In my opinion, I think government is necessary. Government is necessary because it establishes justice in a state. In other words, government enforces public policies. Also a state (aka country) wouldn't be a state without government. Another purpose for government is that it insures domestic tranquility. Domestic tranquility gives peace at home to the citizens from the government.

Government is necessary for society to function. People might be able to survive without government, but life would certainly be a lot worse. For example, there would be no public schools, roads, parks, and there would be no restrictions on what you put in food. One of the biggest effects, though, would be there would be no money. People would have to barter for everything. Without the need for money, there would be no big companies, only people making their own products at home. Also, there would be a huge rise in crime; people could just take what they wanted if they were physically dominant over you. With this wave of crime would come a lot of private gun ownership and a rise in vigilantism. As you can see, the world would descend into chaos without the government.

I believe that a government is necessary for multiple reasons. For example, it provides us safety by enforcing laws and public policies. Government also provides us with security for our homes, money, cars, etc. Another reason why the government is necessary is that it has enough power to be the majority that promotes the well being of all people. From the Social Contract, once agreeing, we as people may not take matters into our own hands. This also helps provide a sense of security and safety to us all. The government also as a democracy allows us freedom and equality in any opportunity, such as politics and education. Lastly, the Preamble states that the purpose of a government is to: form unity, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty. All in all, I believe government is necessary due to that it provides us safety and security of ourselves and our valuables, promotes for the well being of all, as well as giving us freedom and equality.

I believe that the government is necessary in order to keep our nation sane. No matter if we have a leader or not, people will eventually come together and form some type of leadership. Without the government, the United States would be extremely chaotic. Citizens wouldn't be able to wake up in the morning and feel refreshed because the sewer system is shut down, or the garbage isn't taken out because our taxes couldn't pay the garbage men to come and collect our trash all around the city. No government means no laws, which would make the crime rates higher and many more people would be murdered and money would be stolen, without anyone being able to do anything about it, since the prison is also shut down due to no taxes. Yes, no one likes paying taxes. Everyone feels the same way. But the government takes our taxes and creates the society we have today... All because of everyone who contributed to paying taxes (even though it's a law, you have to pay taxes). So, again I say, government is definitely necessary in order to keep our nation a nation, while keeping everyone safe and giving them the freedom they deserve.

Yes, I believe that government is necessary. If there was no ruling power over a group of people, some sort of ruling power would take control rather quickly. But besides that, government is necessary because it provides a better quality of life. Government provides things like security, defense, and opportunity. For security, there are rules put in place to keep you safe, like it is illegal to hurt or kill people. For defense most governments have a military and things like homeland security to protect its people from outside threats. Lastly, for opportunity a good government will provide equal opportunity and equal justice, which means no matter who you are you have same opportunity as anybody else and everybody is equal in front of the law. You can not be discriminated against for any reason. Although that is only three reasons, there are many other reasons as to why government is necessary.

I personally think government is important for the average person. The world is better overall because of governments ideas. It helps stop violence, helps the poor and protects the people. Without it the world would become a far less fair place. Instead of fresh water when you turn on a tap poison could spew out simply because it saved some company somewhere money to stop cleaning it. Without a government you would have to rely on the morals of a company for everything. There may be true freedom but it comes at a steep price. Instead of a justice system people would have to rely on shady organizations and violence to keep themselves safe. This is not the way an average person would want to live. The government is important and the average man should want it but it is not truly necessary.

Yes, Government is in fact necessary. Without government the country would be a complete mess. There would be no services like ambulances, police firefighters, etc. if you were to get hurt or need help there would be nobody to call since all these services are organized by the government. Without a police force laws would no enforced so cries would go unseen and there would be havoc in the streets. Also every day things like tap water and clean air couldn't be trusted because there would be no standards controlled by the government. Schools would be useless since nobody would be required to attend anymore and generations of kids would grow up without a proper education. The streets and cities would be dirty, out of date and run down because there would be no services like garbage men, clean up crews, or constructions workers. Finally I think it would turn into a dictatorship because the people would look for safety and security and they would go to the most power full person and make them leader. That's why I think that a government is necessary in our society.

I believe that government is necessary for many different reasons. One reason is because government creates laws that citizens have to abide by, in order to create a peaceful society. By definition government is an institution through which a society makes and enforces public policies. The correlation here is that government is made to look out for the people. According to the Preamble, the government is to promote general welfare and without government people would be poorer because of no restrictions on the economy. Another reason government is necessary is too look out for the common good of the people. In most governments around the world, whoever has the majority usually can decide what laws will be made. Even though you could argue that government is necessary or not, I believe that government is necessary.

I believe that government is definitely necessary. For many reasons, our country and even world would be even more chaotic than it is now. If someone did something wrong, they wouldn't even have to go to court for a trial for debating on having a punishment. On the other side, the people that are victims of crimes would not get justice for themselves. Also, we would not be able to complete the simplest tasks that we take for granted. Such as using the water out of a sink faucet. You would not know if that water is safe to use, due to no businesses and laws regarding food safety. Our country would not have safety like it does now, no airport security, border protection, etc. If you were faced in a life threatening situation due to the lack of security, you would not be able to defend yourself with for example, a weapon. All of the things that we think, do, and talk about are somehow related to the government and its processes.

I strongly believe that a government is necessary because humans naturally need someone to lead them. Although some may argue that the government's negatives outweigh the positives, I think that the government is not appreciated enough for what it does for each community. Things the government can help provide the people include: Roads, schools, drinkable water, parks, and much more. Without a government, all of these possessions the government gives us, most likely would not exist, or at least not have the same quality. Something else that would cease to exist without a government is law and order. As i stated earlier, our government provides the people a leader, someone who can protect the common good and keep the people safe.

Yes, mouse melons are good, and so is Government, it controls most aspects of our lives in some way. The Government controls everything from the price of gas, to the hours we spend in school. Without the government society as we know it would collapse. Yes, the human race would very probably go on if there was no government, but everything that has taken centuries for us to build and accomplish would come crashing down around us. As both of Mr. Mitchel's articles have shown, without law in a place, people quickly start to take it upon themselves to do what they think is right, or what might benefit them the most. If this began occurring all over the world, many would die, or loose most, if not all, of their possessions. This is just on way that the Government helps us in our every day lives, there are many more that I'm not going to list or just simply cant, because I don't know them. Most of us have no clue what all the government does for us, all of it good. These are the reasons that the Government is necessary in todays society.

Government is necessary for several amounts of reasons. A major reason of the government is to give people a sturdy life. With no government, there would be no laws enforced on anyone. People would do as they pleased. That being said, many people would get robbed and murdered, leaving no consequences, which would spark more crime. Also, there would be no congress collecting taxes, to put into a public school system. With no school systems, people wouldn't be properly educated, and gives more chance for them to have a future of crime. Lastly, there would be no protection from other countries. They could come on to our land and take it for themselves. All in all, government is necessary for many reasons, and would not be stable without it.

For many reasons, I think having a government is very necessary. Our government does a lot for us and we benefit from having a government in our daily lives without noticing. Without a government, we would not have rules which would create chaos around the country and there would be no justice for any crimes committed. Our government protects us by establishing a set of laws to abide by and keep us safe. The government also provides us with services such as the fire department, police protection, health care, education, and hospitals through our taxes. Our tax dollars are also used to benefit our countries welfare. Our government also ensures that our water is clean and our food is safe from any kinds of bacteria. The government is always doing things to protect our country and keep us safe as individuals as well. Without one, our country would be a very dangers place to live in.

Government is needed because it protects its people by creating a military. It also creates schools to educate its citizens. It lets people become involved in policy via voting for a representative, it establishes money for people to use in business, and raises taxes so areas can help each other. Finally, government is needed to set up health standards to keep food safe for people to eat.

Government is necessary for almost anything we do, even if it doesn't seem like it. The government controls things such as our water supply, food sources, and distributors. It also controls things like our roads, means of transportation, and nearly all jobs that are not owned by a private company. They control the value of a dollar, and prevent inflation or loss of value to a system of currency. The government holds stability over our every day lives, even if it doesn't seem so. Governments keep our country and others safe and secure, so they don't fall into themselves or under the power of another larger, more powerful country nearby that may want to take it over. No two governments are going to be exactly the same either, they may be the same type of government, but they will not be executed the exact same way.

I firmly believe that government is necessary. Without it, our nation would be a mess. There would no longer be any order, as people would be free to do what they want with no government to create, execute, or interpret laws. Certainly, violence would come along with a nation without a government. Having a government allows us to resolve things legally and in a just manner, rather than turning to violence to settle disputes. It is essential to an active country to have a government system to provide for the people and keep order. Government is most definitely necessary.

Government is inevitable and necessary. It keeps its people safe by making essential laws and protecting their country from others. Without our government, we wouldn't have public schools. Without a government, people would live in fear and do whatever they want. Many people would be hurt or killed or worse. It's necessary to have a government if we want to keep our country safe.

In my opinion, I think that government is necessary for many reasons. One reason why is because without it there would be no laws stopping those that commit crimes and no punishment for them as well. A government also maintains peace and order and without it there would be chaos. There would be many disagreements that could ultimately lead to war. Also, the government collects taxes so that good things are done for society. If there was no one to collect those taxes there would be no public education, roads, health care, and many more. Lastly, the government keeps us safe and looks out for our basic humans rights, which we all have and shouldn't lose.

I believe that government is most certainly necessary. The government provides money and food for the unemployed who without the government's help would starve. Also, without the government, many services like garbage disposal, water services and road care would not be funded therefore not exist. On top of that, the government has set in place a justice system that is impartial and reasonable. Without said justice system, crime would most certainly increase drastically. In conclusion, without a government we wouldn't even be able to carry out our daily life.

I think government is necessary. Because without it, there would be no law. Some may think at first that that may be good because people have full freedom over everything, and don't have to listen and obey their authority. But, if you really think about it, it would be pure chaos. People would kill each other, endless robberies, and all kinds of harsh crimes will be committed, due to the fact that there is no law in the way to stop you from doing so. Another reason is that there wouldn't be any government controlled systems such as Health Care, insurance, etc., and everyone needs them. The Government controls a lot of things that humans use everyday in order to survive, so without them, people would suffer or even worst, die. The last of reason to support my claim is there are various things that we need that private companies can't provide. Policing and national defense fall under this category. So do things like education, roads in rural areas, and electricity to rural areas. Private companies would not provide these things to everyone because it would be hard to make people pay for them or it would not be profitable to provide them. But we need these things and therefore supporting my claim, we need governments.

I believe that government is not only beneficial, but absolutely and without doubt critical for the survival and improvement of a country and its citizens. Without the government collecting tax ex we would have no emergency survives. We would also lack thongs that we might take for granted such as clean water, and safety regulations on products and businesses. Governments also defend their citizens and go to unimaginable lengths to protect them from hard. Governments are i believe, taken for granted constantly and much like a kicker in football, they aren't recognized for all of their hard work and sauces until they mess up. All in all, I think that government is absolutely NASCAR and very, very important.

Yes, I believe government is necessary for many reasons. Without the government the world would be chaotic. In order to prevent chaos, policeman are hired, but without government there's no police. The government is supposed to maintain peace and order, but without it there would be a lot of people committing crimes every day if there were no police present. The world would be an unsafe and unorganized place. The way government helps the world to be safe and organized is by hiring people to protect everyone and to fix things that we use in our every day lives, such as roads, buildings, bridges, street signs, lights etc. If these things werent present the world would just slowly crumble and tear apart because there is no one to do or fix these things. Everyone that has a job that is under the government would be jobless meaning that there would barely be any jobs for anyone and it would be more difficult to find jobs that are not under the government. There will also be no insurance or health care for anyone, but that really wouldn't matter because all doctors, dentists, etc. would not exist since there would be no jobs. All and all i think Government is necessary to maintain everyone's lives and to keep everything in order.

I think that government is necessary. I think this for three main reasons it provides protection, punishes those who break the laws, and provides common welfare. Protection is provided by the police and the Executive branch. If you break a law you will be punished and this is good because without punishment there would be nothing to keep people from doing bad things. Common welfare is when the government steps in and helps people that don't make enough money to get by, do just that, get by. All in all, i think that governments are helpful and necessary.

i think that government is really necessary for many reason, one of which is that if we don't have government we don't have laws so the people can do what they want and it can be dangerous because some people don't think the same that others think and it can lead to conflict. Government provides order and gives services to help people who are in need including Social Security that it for example for old people, public assistance that give money for poor people, and other entitlements like medical assistance. Other reason is to provides the military to protect the people of the country. They provide inspections of food for public health.

A government is very much needed in today's society because without it there would just be utter chaos in that country nothing would be safe or secure. Government is needed because there would be no stability or certain sets of rules for people or limits on them, people could just do what ever they wanted and get away with it with no consequences the country would fail in general. Without the government keeping everything in check noting will be safe to eat or drink because the government wouldn't be able to check if the water is good to drink or to check if the food is safe to eat or any emergency services intact. It could also open possibilities of another country coming in to invade and seek dominance or extending territory. Its also good because you have a strong and powerful military in line protecting us from harm from another country trying to change our way of life. Overall i think government is very important for everyone.

I believe government is necessary for many different reasons. First of all government provides many services for its people. For example without the government all things paid with taxes would not exist like firefighters, police officers, and roads. Another reason government is necessary is because it protects its citizens from corrupt monopolies and companies that lie about the safety or effectiveness of their product. Finally without a government a country would have no unitary military defense system. In conclusion I believe government is necessary because it provides its people with services paid by taxes, and protects them from unfair companies and military threats from other nations.

While it does have its cons, I believe that government is a necessity that modern society could not exist without. Government provides services that we cannot provide for ourselves, and that we could never trust private companies to provide these services unregulated. Without government, we could not trust that our water was drinkable, or that we would be protected if our homeland were to be invaded. Our government also provides the important service of interpreting the laws with as little bias as possible. Without our court system, criminals would run free and others would receive harsh punishments for minor crimes. The laws that our legislative branch generates are important for protecting everyone's rights and without them, many more people would become victims of foul play without anything to prevent their oppressors from treating them poorly. While it is fun to think of a world without governments controlling people's lives, it's important to realize that such a system could not sustain many of the privileges government provides us that we take for granted.

“Is government necessary” is a highly talked about debate in the U.S. I for one think that as a nation, we do need a government to flourish. I believe our government needs to set regulations and boundaries to maintain order. If we didn't have government, there would be many negatives that would happen including loss of food safety, loss of personal safety, and a crash in our economy. First, our food would not be safe to eat anymore because the government sets standards for food companies. Some of these standards are how clean restaurants are and how much bacteria is in the food. If we didn't have these regulations we would all become very sick. Second, our personal lives would be in danger. The government has the military to protect us from other countries and dangerous groups of people. Without the government there is no military support, and without the military countries could invade at any time. This puts everyone's life in danger because we have no protection. Lastly, our economy would crash for many reasons. There would not be any minimum wage so people would get very little income and become very poor. Also there would be a loss of many jobs with all of the government jobs not having to work anymore. Also, our country would become not as smart because there would not be a law that children would have to go to school. Those reasons and many more are the reason that Government is very necessary to our great nation.

Yes, I believe government is one hundred percent necessary for a functional society. It has been said that "people can still live happy lives without government", but no population can become organized, functional, or even trustworthy without it. There would be no repercussions for any wrong doings. This means that anything that could possibly get you ahead in society would be fair game. Fraud, theft, and even murder would be very prevalent in a community without government. No government means no publicly funded structures. Things like roads, hospitals, jails, power plants, etc would not exist. Society would be going back hundreds of years. All in all, without government, we don't have society.

yes, i believe government is necessary. I say this because the government is what keeps our society stable and running properly. if we didn't have a government jobs would decrease, which could result in the value of the dollar bill decreasing. not only would jobs decrease, but so would the overall health of the citizens, there would be less doctors, resulting in less advancements in the medical field which would overall lead to a lower life expectancy. that is if you aren't already dead, because of a lack of laws and criminal punishment for your wrongdoings, people would probably kill you if you disagreed with them, after all there would be no laws. overall these are just some of the reasons that the government is extremely necessary in todays society.

Yes, I think government is good. Government is the main support system in our society, keeping order. They are also elected by the people so that everybody has a say in what happens in their country. Without government, there would be chaos. No rules would mean no profit for anybody, no necessary goods available to the public, and no justice for any crime. On top of that, if the government system was abandoned, eventually somebody would gain popularity among the people and be put as leader, which could lead to a full dictatorship. A government is safe for all people and keeps everyday life running. Without it, we might not be a country.

In order to have a functioning society, I believe that government is a necessity. This is true because we would have no regulations, no military, and no government services to protect us. First of all, no government regulations would be in place. The government regulates water quality, food, and employers. If there wasn’t government then we would

have dirty water, potentially harmful food, and there would be no minimum wage and there would be unsafe workplaces. Next, we wouldn't have a military to protect our country. Without a military, we wouldn't be able to protect ourselves and we wouldn't be able to attack countries when they disobey strict orders. A military is necessary to protect our borders and our freedom. Finally, we wouldn't get any services from the government such as the police force and fire department. Without the police, no laws would be enforced. The streets will be dangerous and drug use would skyrocket. Also, the fire department wouldn't exist so if a home is on fire, it could catch a whole town on fire. Without these services, the country would be so much more dangerous. All in all, government is crucial for our society to function to its fullest. Without regulations, military, services, and so much more, our country would fall apart and eventually be taken over. By having our democracy, it protects us and allows us to strive.

yes, i believe that government is essential for us, the U.S. to have. Government establishes rules and regulations that keep the order of the citizens in place. Law that are made help prohibit the unmoral acts like murder & rape. With out the government the people would also suffer. we would have filthy streets, destroyed parks, and loss of welfare. all of these things that people take for granted will be greatly missed. our streets would be flooded with tons of debris and other horrible substances. since there would be no laws people could burn down parks and destroy them. there would be little safe places outside for children to play or for anyone to have outdoor time in a safe environment. lastly the loss of welfare there would be tons of americans loosing their health care, food stamps and house welfare. which means tons of jobs lost and tons of americans going hungry, unvaccinated, and homeless. all in all i believe that having government is overall a good thing.

Yes I believe government is nessecary for many reasons first reason is that government also promotes harmony though justice and equality. Once a crime is solved by the police, it is the duty of the judicial branch of the government to bring the perpetrator to court for fair trial and punishment. It makes sure that the right person gets into jail for the right reason. Another role of the government is to provide children with public access to basic education. It is essential that children learn how to read, write and count.Another role of the government is to collect taxes and ensure that these taxes fund the right projects that are beneficial to society. Money is needed to build public schools, roads and bridges and provide services like welfare assistance, health care, unemployment benefits, etc. This is where taxes come in. The government collects taxes from individuals and business so that schools, roads and other infrastructure are built. Lastly government Is important that they protect its security from threats. It is the role of the government to have a military force to defend its territory from external threats like terrorism, war and invasion. The government's police force protects the citizens against internal threats like civil disobedience, organized crime. But government over all is to work with each other to maintain world peace and prosperity.

I believe that government is completely necessary. Government is what gives individuals security in their lives. This is given in many ways. One way is through warning systems. Without these people would never be warned about things like hurricanes, tornadoes, or even an incoming attack. Another way is through laws and law enforcement. If there's no laws or law enforcement, then people can do whatever they'd like and even commit murder with no real consequences. Lastly, jobs are insecure. With no higher government, businesses can pay people whatever they want and the average person would have to take a pay cut or else their job will just go to someone who will. Security is a big reason government is necessary but certainly not the only one.

In my opinion I think that government is completely necessary in our country to keep order within everyone, maintain safety, and supply basic functions. Without the government we would not have basic funding for things such as public schools or trash collectors - leaving us without education or cleanliness throughout the streets and communities. Another reason why government is mandatory to everyday life is because it maintains safety within many people by demonstrating laws and standards that create boundaries for harm and mass destruction. Lastly, government is needed because it gives many people a sense of security and order within the community since it offers equality and compromise to all people who respect the already set rules.

Yes I do believe that government is necessary in our country because without it a lot of things would not be the same or of good impact. First and foremost, without government a lot of order and stability in the country would be lost. The government helps to keep things organized and in control. One of the prime responsibilities of the government is to establish a sense of justice in the country. If there is no government, then when crimes occur, there will be no consequences or punishments for the actions of who committed the crime. Another reason why i believe that government is necessary is because they help to ensure the best tranquility by providing rules to ensure the best possible protection and safety of the count and citizens. Also, the government helps in securing the blessings of liberty, which is practically protecting our freedoms and rights, which is one of the essential factors of the country. In conclusion, government is necessary. Whether we like it or not, humans are filled with flaws and cant really run ourselves without a little bit of an organization system, which is what the government does.

Government has been around for centuries and has been helping to organize society ever since. I believe government is necessary for many reasons. The first reason is Government establishes justice and freedom. Government can establish laws and amendments which create organization and give citizens rights. Without rights and Laws it would be very violent and chaotic. There would be no regulation on crime and single persons could take charge. Another reason government is necessary is it provides public welfare and defense. Without our government, we would not have programs such as FEMA, which helps with disaster relief, or medicare which provides health insurance for the retired. IN addition, we would not have a government funded military, and it may not be as strong as it is today. One last reason government is necessary is we would not have a leader chosen fairly. In our government we have a democracy where we can vote on a president by seeing which candidate has the best ideas. This could not occur fairly without government, where most likely a dictator would rise. In conclusion without government society would be very troubled and would be in need of supreme reform.

It also help with jobs because you get paid, but if there was no government who would take your trash or pay you because no one would volunteer for work that you don't get paid for. There should always be a form of government to control the people to make sure there actions are fair to all.If there was no government there would be no rules to follow causing many problems for the people. I believe you can't grow as a society without fairness and government in general. When you have a government there is a form of leadership normally over or with the people. I think government is necessary because without it there would no order or protection to a country. The government provides services to us if we give up a small part of our freedom to them. With the government ruling over our country they provide things like the military and police force that keep our country safe from crime and terrorists. Without a government there would also be no school system therefore you would have many uneducated citizens that are unable to work jobs. By living in a democracy we the people have individual freedom by being able to vote for office. By having a say in government it keeps peace by living under a ruler that majority elected. In all, government is necessary to rule any successful county.

Yes government is very necessary for a country. I say this because without an institution to regulate and enforce laws it would be complete anarchy. With no laws the people at the top of big companies could pay below minimum wage, and there would be no health regulations. It would be just like the beginning of the industrial revolution. Also everyone would rob each other, kill over petty arguments, and we as a society would be back to hunting and gathering. That is just one terrible thing that would happen with no government.

NO!!! Mouse melons are not good. They destroy the environment and your immune system. Mouse Melons are chemically made in the secret laboratories of North Korea, they are than sold to the American public at outlandish prices. Mouse Melons are smaller versions of water melons, or so you are meant to believe! These, so called melons, are actually made out of thousands of different harmful chemicals, and Pink dye number 6, which is a whole other topic I wont even get into. Anyway, Mouse Melons were created by Kim Jong (it wont let me type the last part) to be specifically sold to the American public to try to get them weaker and, ironically, bigger so they are easier targets for Korean soldiers. All of this has been proven without a doubt in the Witz survey from Harvard University. And even if all of those concrete facts weren't enough to sway you against the Mouse Melon, they are extremely bad for the environment, when the Melons aren't refrigerated, for extended periods of time, they explode with a fireball the size of a Samsung and a hover board put together! When they explode they release terrifying amounts of C.F.S.'s into the air and this could potentially destroy the O-zone, maybe. And if all of that STILL wasn't enough to sway you, the melons are pink with orange stripes! Not even like subdued colors, these melons practically look like they were rolled through the Color Run, which everyone should participate in. These are the reasons that Mouse Melons are bad and why we should nuke North Korea! :)

I think that the government is not necessary because most people can survive without the comforts it provides. Although it is true that the quality of life for most people would be significantly lower it does not mean that people would not be able to live happy lives. Also some governments don't provide the services that are necessary to keep its citizens healthy and safe so it wouldn't be wrong to say that some governments don't help the people who live under their control. People are also capable of doing what the government does on a smaller scale. An example of this can be found in defense while most governments have a military, you can defend yourself through multiple methods. In the end the government isn't necessary but we are all better off having it.
