CreateDebate is a social debate community built around ideas, discussion and democracy.
If this is your first time checking out a debate, here are some quick tips to help get you started:
Arguments with the highest score are displayed first.
Argument replies (both in favor and in opposition) are displayed below the original argument.
To follow along, you may find it helpful to show and hide the replies displayed below each argument.
To vote for an argument, use these icons:
You have the power to cast exactly one vote (either up or down) for each argument.
Once you vote, the icon will become grayed out and the argument's score will change.
Yes, you can change your vote.
Debate scores, side scores and tag scores are automatically calculated by an algorithm that primarily takes argument scores into account.
All scores are updated in real-time.
To learn more about the CreateDebate scoring system, check out the FAQ.
When you are ready to voice your opinion, use the Add Argument button to create an argument.
If you would like to address an existing argument, use the Support and Dispute link within that argument to create a new reply.
Oh, and your welcome Ryan.. The minimum length for an argument is 50 characters. The purpose of this restriction is to cut down on the amount of dumb jokes, so we can keep the quality of debate and discourse as high as possible.

I know must of the debaters here play video games more than sports. I have one really strong point for who play video games, video games didn't improve your critical skill really answer me . and I' 'am done.
I know that sports makes you more healthy and more beautiful but video games helps you improve your critical thinking skills, no really really does puzzle games improve your skills
video games help in critical thinking skills. But did you also know that games like Super Mario Bros helps in training you brain in quick thinking skills, Example questions like: whats your name? you might think that thats a simple question and you might be telling your self ''I have answered this correctly my hole life, what do you mean''. but some people while they do answer correctly they take some time thinking for a obvios question.
Also games like street fighter or super smash brothers whitch are both real time fighter games, help in quick reaction time. Like if some one punches you, you will be able to dodge him more easily, and quickly.
Video games and sports are different, there is a third option that can be even more exciting: crypto gambling. With bitcoin casino sites like https://tower.bet/ you can experience the thrill of betting on your favorite games, without even leaving your home. Just sign up, deposit some cryptocurrency, and start playing. Plus, with blockchain technology, you can be sure that the games are fair and transparent. So why choose between video games and sports, when you can have the best of both worlds with crypto gambling?
Sports because if you were camping or something and a bear attacks you it would help if you do karate or taekwondo or any other martial arts. Even if you do gymnastics or if you have a ball with you, you could hit the bear, and if you do track or something you could try to outrun the bear.(only if your really, really, really good)
I don't think that either position here is absolutely correct because doing only sports and no mental exercise is bad, and lacking physical engagement is also bad. However, you don't have to make 4-5 different arguments in the same debate. Put them all in one post so the debate and site doesn't get spammed. ;) Not a huge deal, but would remove clutter.
1) QUIT SPAMMING. 2) The majority of today's game ARE team sports. They develop team friendships just as much as sports do. Sorry buddy, but you'll need a different social argument.
Sports are way better because they keep you physically and mentally alerted, and help you do quick actions more than video games because in video games you just move your thumbs, but in sports you move more of your body.
Unless you suffer injuries while partaking in sports. Also, video games will only ruin your eyes under intense circumstances. Sports have plenty of negative consequences, involving injury, an inherent competitive attitude, and requires a larger commitment than video games. Also, sports can lack the mental engagement that is inherent in video games.
Sports because sports aren't as violent as many video games that people play.(besides wrestling..) But wrestling and stuff still don't have guns and blood and zombies...
Is chocolate cake better than a salad? Maybe it tastes better, but it certainly isn't healthier. Same goes for video games. They may be more fun than sports (depending on the person), but they certainly aren't healthier.
In my view sports are better than video games.Sport is good for health.Making exercises keeps in form, while playing video games and sitting in chairs and no any movements don't makes anything. But in exercises your blood moves and you become energetic.
my view that sport absolutely better than video games. If you choose sport: 1) you will be healthier and live longer; 2) you will have a nice muscle body ( girls like it ). Sport mean - to waste time with fun, playing football, basketball, baseball and so on.
