I don't believe so, to embrace the idea of natural selection and micro to macro evolution is to believe that out of raw matter and energy and non-information comes complex forms of intelligence and design requires more faith then I'll ever have. Complexity and sentience screams intelligent design, not the randomness of matter and energy. This is a far more plausible theory then physics having some predisposed intelligence to create more, instinctive and complex forms of life. Being in the software design and development business and studying AI, I know what it takes in terms of design to create even the most simplistic of code to make an informed outcome. And this does not even come close to rising to the level of sentience. For the most simplistic life forms to "evolve" into more complex forms of life it would require a complex codex that first would need to "know" (sentience) it would need to increase in complexity and to have some sort of understanding of design to create properties that it does not currently possess. For example; if an organism decides it must be able to "see" the environment in order to survive, then create or even self-generate an eye so it can see is a complexity that would be off the charts. Even the most rudimentary things we take for granted, like a scratch on the tip of ones finger to self heal and regenerate is a complexity that is astounding. Is there evidence of order that can be attributed to physics? Sure there is, like a snowflake which is symmetrical and indicates some order. However to leap from there to DNA is a massive chasm not easily explained or is even rationale. While a snowflake has symmetry it doesn't tell us anything, it has no "Information". I believe that metaphysics of physics in itself is evidence of intelligence Side: They aren't
