Are looks important when deciding a spouse?

What do you feel about this issue concerning beauty and living with someone forever?

I think you need to be at least somewhat attracted to the person you marry. It's true that personality is the most important. I may find the most beautiful woman I've ever seen, but if she's a total dumbass then I won't be happy. If you're going to be with a person for the rest of your life; you need to make sure that you like everything about them.

To most people, it would have at least some importance.

As I said somewhere else, beauty is surely important, but the aesthetic issue is just a little part of all those different types of beauty that are not aesthetic. Unfortunately, our society is more and more leading us to believe that the only beauty is the aesthetic one, and the only one that counts. By this process, people divide themselves in two parts: those who believe that, and those who strongly think "inner beauty" to be definitely more important. The point is that both of the two parts are wrong, since there are billions of other types of beauty which are dying: how to learn them (yes, you have to learn them)? Do read books, good books.

It's at the very least a little important. There is certainly a limit, if you're not blind. It's human nature to enjoy something nice to look at. Whether what you think of as nice is, fat, skinny, blonde, brunette, or other if you're spending your life with them it's a little important that they be pleasing to your eyes.

Oh really!? Well I doubt that but seeing as I don't even believe in love, I wouldn't be able to personally object.

I am very picky!

I think so although there are many people who will not admit it.

I think looks don’t matter in deciding the spouse. Because when you have to live with a person you will need to cooperate more than making yourself beautiful. I think my assignment help you to gain more information about it. You have to live with your spouse throughout your life so you need a better understanding between you rather than just beauty.

Looks does not matter when you see your true love in front of you. Love itself is the most powerful and most beautiful thing in this universe as well its mobilbahis Giriş over other ordinary things such as shape is above board.

If you know that person for a very long time, you aren't capable to decide if they look good or bad anymore, those two are overkill but in general it works that way :D

If those two are overkill, you don't think it'll be harder for them to get a spouse without someone settling? Plus, these were the most normal "ugly" people I could find. Google Ugly and see for yourself!

They aren't really ugly, they are just fat ...so the chick could be actually quite nice ... if she will became significantly less heavy...

Usually when you fall in love with the person you see him or her as beautiful.

I notice attractive people, but I like people with a good personality.

You don't choose your friends on whether or not they're attractive do you? Looks fade, but (usually) personality stays. I mostly look for someone who I would want to spend the rest of my life with, through thick and thin, not someone who I think is hot. Besides, the more you like someone, the more attractive they seem.

(Note: I think that if the girl lost weight, she could be gorgeous)
