Are most girls shallow?

Do, you find that most of us are shallow and expect high standards?

Yes, they are

Yes, but probably no more so than men. Repeated polling across cultures has shown the same thing: men generally want someone pretty, women want someone rich or powerful. We do have instincts, believe it or not.

Well, i think from my personal experience that we (girls) are extremely shallow

Whenever my friends judge a guy it's always on his looks or social standing, its never about his personality which i think is waaaaaaaaaay more important.

Of couse there's exceptions to this rule. some girls are genuinley nice, but to be honest guys, most of us are just fake people.

And of couse most guys are extremely shallow as they'll hardly talk to a girl if she's not pretty.

Men and Women are shallow. We all have high expectations of the opposite sex. We want a pretty smart slender woman while women want a handsome smart and built man.

Some women fall head over heels for a man that looks deformed and the only reason they do so is because the man has huge arms and pecks =\

To answer, think about these descriptions:

Not Shallow: Deep thinkers, technical minds, ones who spend time on a problem or subject to come up with the right solution

Shallow: Fickle, easily swayed by mood or emotion, obsessing over looks, having self esteem based on appearance

Women don't want to be shallow, but what's on your mind all the time IS your mind, and still they want a partner, eventually, who cares deeply about them. Keep in mind that this naturally doesn't apply to everyone, and there are exceptions to every rule.

No. There are many, many, MANY shallow people on the planet, but women are not any shallower than men are, in fact, it may be the other way around. I think most people in the world today are idiots, at least most Americans from the generation just after the baby boom, and shallowness is quite common amongst people these days.

Everyone is shallow in there life time so it is not so much the question of are most GIRLS shallow it is also "are boys just as shallow as girls?" I read a few of the opinions before doing my own and found that some people were saying when a girl see's a guy they always go on there social status or looks, do we really think that it is only girls that are like this. When have you ever seen an absolutely gorgeous guy hanging round with the "bottom of the social status girl" or the "ugliest girl in school"??

to sum this up everyone is shallow and so this makes the question almost impossible to answer because EVERYONE is shallow so therefore every girl probably has been shallow in there life time but it is not on going which means you can not leave your arguement as yes most girls are shallow :)

That's just sterotypical rite there. Gender does not influnce a person's ability to clarify something too much. Many women AND men are shallow, not all. A person may seem shallow, but everyone has some depth, you just might be looking at them the wrong way.

Really tall girls are really deep. Wait..., are we talking the same thing? ;)
