Police aren't real police anymore. Most of the time they're chasing statistics. Not all, but most. They hide behind guidelines and rules to prevent themselves from helping the community the way they used to. You look at the older generation and see how much trust and respect they have for police officers and see the difference people feel towards them now. They're out there to bust your b*lls. Thats all they do these days. (I'm talking about the MET)

I used to like them until they start writing me traffic tickets for going 9 miles over the speed limit on a HWY out in the middle of nowhere and tell me that he is sorry that he has to write me a ticket because the economy is bad and their department is hurting for revenue. That's just dandy my tax dollars hard at work. Go out and find the real bad guys, Cops are a drain and a waste of tax payers money. They don't fight crime they are never there when it happens anyway, it's usually the detectives afterwords that make the biggest impact. Remember it's a form of business for each lame ass ticket they write that department receives 60% of the total fine. Just follow the money.

I can't stand them...they are such assholes. You simply cannot reason with them because they don't hear you to begin with. They think they're right and there's nothing else to be said but I've got news for them. They're not the end all and be all of everything. They're simply a piece of flea dung on a horse's ass.

I've always liked cops and considered them friendly until I had an accident. I hit a parked truck on a dark road. I was just driving regularly and hit smack into it because cars dont usually park on that side of the busy street. Anyway I had just had a beer at a friends house and was on my way home a few blocks away when it happened. I had chemotherapy the next day and had already had breast cancer two years prior to the ovarian cancer I was just diagnosed with so I went to have one drink with my friend for comfort. I had to do the field sobriety test twice and when I passed them the police got mad and did a breathlizer on me. I failed it because they did it really quick so the alcohol would be fresh on my breath. I was thrown in jail and without my wig so I was completely bald and by the way I am a female so that is why I hate police. They have no hearts!!!!!!

Yes, the rank and file for the most part are flaming assholes. They all want to be the f@@king hero, no matter what. They don't treat the public that they serve with any respect yet have the nerve to demand it. They hold NO respect for the laws that they are supposedly sworn to uphold and by and large think they are above all laws, having NO problem breaking them to further the hero mentality. When caught they will lie to save face; I have yet to meet one that is decent enough to be labeled a human being.

ALL cops have a "them and us" attitude toward the private citizen. ALL COPS think everybody is a liar, a druggie,an alcoholic, a thief,etc., hell, they hate their own mothers ! Cops have the highest divorce rate, the highest suicide rate,and the very highest cases of being mentally institutionalized compared to normal people. THANK GOD FOR THEIR HIGH SUICIDE RATE !!!!

Every experience I've had with police officers, I've had an argument with them. I can't speak to them without arguing, because as an adolescent, I can't help but to feel that everything they say and do is inherently wrong and is encroaching on my freedom and good times.

Yes, I just got a careless driving ticket yesterday because I cut through a tiny 7-11 parking lot to get around some a-hole driving 10 mils an hour & then I flipped the guy off. Well an off duty chief of police (asshole) I guess saw me do that & followed me all over town like a crazy jerk in an unmarked SUV, so I had no idea it was a cop & I was trying really hard to get away from him. Finally about 2 miles later, when he finally turned his lights on to reveal he was a cop I had driven all over town & was on the freeway by then. Then the jerk told me he was going to arrest me & tow my car.... well sorry asshole you can't arrest someone for careless driving only reckless driving which I didn't do either of. Fucking jerk! I HATE cops. thanks for the ticket asshole I'll be writing a letter explaining my situation, because I chose to never look at your old face ever again. :)

Of course the purpose of government is to protect property and in theory the police, the coercive arm of the government, enforces those laws. When cops perform their duty faithfully that is fine. The problem is when the police overstep their authority there are seldom any repercussions. Nobody wants to rat out a cop for fear of retaliation. And in a court of law, the judge and jury tend to side with the police. Cops know this and they exploit it. I have seen cops lie, cheat, steal, and even beat their helpless victims. And yet they seem to hold themselves above everyone else. They are just thugs with badges.

there is no such thing as an honest cop anymore. I was in an accident a few days ago and while i was driving along i put my right turn signal on to pull into a driveway a guy not paying attention didn't realize i was turning and swerved to the right over a tree lawn to avoid hitting me but the guy ended up T-boning my car and pushing me into the front lawn of the house next door. I called the cops around 5:30 they didn't show up until 6:45. When the cop showed up he asked what happened here while looking at both me and the person who hit me. I started to explain what happened, then the cop snapped "I wasn't talking to you" and listened to the other guy say I sideswiped him. After the other guy finished saying his side the cop went into his car and started filling out reports after taking my license and insurance card as well as the other guys. after standing in the cold waiting for the cop both me and the other guy went to our own cars to warm up and I needed to comfort my girlfriend who was crying in my car. After awhile the cop came to my car handed me my license and insurance card and said the accident was my fault without allowing me to say my side of the story. I tried to point out the damage on my car is to extensive for a sideswipe to be possible and the tire tracks proving that i was hit and not the other way around. Instead of bothering to look at any of what I just pointed out he shined his mag-light in my face and snapped "I've been doing this for twenty two years. I've been doing this longer than you've been alive so don't tell me how to do my job" and sat back in his squad car. Now because of this cop my insurance is skyrocketing my car is destroyed and i cant afford to fix it. I could fight it in court but its my word against a police report so there's nothing i can do.

Small town cops in particular tend to be an especially potent breed of ass hole. I've been searched 3 times without probable cause, and just today i returned to my car parked on the street with more change for the meter, I know for fact it had not yet expired because id been watching the clock rather closely. There was a cop standing there waiting for it to run out, he already had the ticket typed up and was just waiting to print it. he saw me coming with change in hand and printed it anyway the second my time ran out and handed it to me with a smirk.

Bottom line, I've never met a cop who wasn't a complete douche.

Cops are totally ignorant bastards. they charges me with an aggravated assault with a firearm which I did not do.I fired a gun with dum dum bullet into the air to get a truck drivers attention at a 110 feet away. that is no crime and the asshole po,lice charged me with assault with a firearm .now after paying a 5,000 bond and 5,000 to a lawyer they want to plea bargain and want me to plead guilty to a aggravated assault without a fire arm. are these people sick or what .I did not assault anyone threaten anyone and want me to plead guilty of a crime I did not commit.a real criminal gets away murder and they want to put me in jail for firing a gun with blanks. the Deltona cops are assholes and every time from now on when a pig,cop gets killed my flag will be at full staff for the person who did a kind deed for the public

I hate cops. They can all fucking go to hell. Every time I've needed the police, either because I was a victim of crime, or while changing a flat tire on the interstate, they either reprimanded me for being in the wrong place at the wrong time, or nearly accused me of criminal conduct. I've never broken a law in my life except a little speeding (~7 mph above the limit). My car was broken into in 2003. Because my insurance required a police report, I called the city police. They yelled at me for parking in my gated apartment complex, and abruptly said "you'll never get your property back...there's nothing we can do but fill out a report...YOU'RE STUPID." The next interaction I had with the cops occurred in 2007 on the side of I-20, changing a flat. The dickhead state trooper parked behind me for about 15 minutes. I kept looking at him sitting in his car. He finally got out and said, "What's the problem here?" I told that dickhead I was having trouble getting my spare out from under my SUV because I had no tools. I asked him for tools. He said, "we're not a flat-tire changing service." I responded by asking him if he had vice grips, and that in no way did I expect him to change my tire. He then asked me if I was smuggling drugs and then pressured me into searching my vehicle. After I changed the flat, I was there for another 45 minutes while him and his supervisor ransacked my SUV. Three weeks ago, I was pulled over in Texas for no reason. No reason whatsoever. The trooper initially said I was following too close, but this was right around church time and there were few motorists on the roads. He asked me why I was wearing a suit. Fucker, I just came from church you idiot. He searched my car and detained me for an hour. He issued me a warning for changing lanes incorrectly. I had not changed any lanes before he pulled me over. Cops are dickheads and America is a police state.

A cop perjured himself in court to convict me. Some say it was one bad cop, but every one involved in the case knew he was lying. All the cops who didn't stand up and say, he's a Fucking liar are just as guilty if not more so. It was my first interaction with the criminal fuck you system so I was somewhat surprised. I shouldn't have been because I knew what they do to black people but I stupidly thought I was immune because I was white.

I didn't previously hate and/or distrust cops. I saw them as people doing a difficult job. But NOW, through actual experience with them, I find many of them to be corrupt bullies. For example, a cop harassed the family (kids) across the street: "the whole time my kids were growing up." Then, after the kids were grown and gone, he switched to my husband and me! To present a clearer picture: The bully cop's girlfriend (a married woman) harassed the neighbors (and us) and used his position to intimidate. I spoke with a therapist and described my neighbor's behavior and the therapist said emphatically that the woman was mentally ill. So, why is the cop screwing a mentally ill bullying woman? Because he's a mentally ill bully himself! Obviously!

Now, listen to this... the following is "precious:" When the woman went "over the top," things broke out into the open. Instead of admitting that the department had a bad cop and the woman was harassive, the police captain tried to make it into a 50-50 thing between the woman and me, while totally leaving out the bully cop! Meaning that, all we had done is move next door to the crazy woman and try our best to avoid her, and the stupid cop captain tried to make us culpable, claiming we engaged her, much like two hands clapping together to create a clapping sound. Actually, her hand was aggressively chasing down my hand and slapping it. (This is a metaphor. She did not actually slap my hand.)

This is even MORE precious... The conversations in the police station where my crazy neighbor and I presented our "sides of the story" to captain cop (Graeber) were recorded, except for the last few minutes when captain cop and I spoke alone together. When no one was there and the recorder wasn't on, captain cop magically turned into a bully !!! He was gruff, mean, interrupted me when I was calmly making a point, implied very, very strongly that I was a liar.

I was mortified. I had actually thought the police would be interested in stopping our misery. But, they don't care. I had made accurate and truthful claims concerning a cop and a cop's intimate friend. I wanted the woman to stop sneaking up from behind me and getting in my face and yelling, accusing, bitching and scaring the heck out of me. I wanted to be able to freely go into my own yard to mow or rake my lawn without fear. I needed the police to help, but all captain cop did was bully me too.

I have vowed that I will never call the police in the future if I ever again see criminals scoping the neighborhood, young girls being molested by the creek, houses being robbed or vandalized, cars racing down the streets at neck-break speeds, and all the other public service things we have done. Never again. Let the neighborhood go to hell in a hand-basket. I will never help them do their jobs ever again -- never be the good citizen neighborhood watchdog. I'll learn how to use my own gun. Anything but ask the help of those corrupt, self-serving monkeys! The Village of Brown Deer police department in Wisconsin is a joke. Some are good people, but not enough of them. They are corrupt bullies, who hide their misdeeds and hurt innocent people like thugs and criminals.

I despise corruption and misuse of authority. It's going to take a while to get over this. It's been a rude awakening for me.

I was changing a flat tire but didnt have a wrench so a cop pulls over while trying to call a friend for some help when the cop comes. I ask him if he has a wrench and his responce was "I dont think I have one". Even though almost all cars have one in case of a flat.
