Parasites. Particularly fleas. But I'm a little biased, I have a special needs cat who has a very severe flea allergy. However, as far as I know of, fleas do not contribute to the food chain life cycle. I highly doubt if fleas were eradicated would much of the rest of living creatures populations be extremely effected. I can see fleas possible doing a little death damage to populations when fleas are so bad the creature becomes infected (but that is indirectly caused by fleas), but that do not literally help control the population of any creatures. They just harm and contribute no good. KILL THEM ALL. Side: Yes (what species?)

No, none. Even those species that are undesirable have their place. Spiders, for example, are a phobia for many people and are strongly disliked by even more, but they have a critical place in the environment; spiders will generally leave you alone for the most part, and prey on insects that often won't (and carry diseases to boot).
