Are there different levels to being handicap?
Like, is a person who is missing 2 legs more handicap than a person missing 2 middle fingers? I personally would think so. I mean unless the person missing the legs had prosthetic or mechanical ones that they were using Can a person missing 2 middle fingers take a handicap parking spot with wheel chair access? I wouldn't if I was missing both my middle fingers since I don't really see it as much of a handicap
Is it OK for a handicap person to have to wait, say 5 minutes, for a parking spot or should there already be one waiting for him? I think it depends on the situation, but I tend to go along with the part of me that says that those spots are there specifically for the handicap people Is it OK to park in a handicap spot for 5 minutes while you run in and do whatever it is and get out before the cops come to ticket you? See previous reply Is it OK to borrow a handicap person's car (and handicap sticker) to get their medication for them and park in the handicap spot? I personally don't think the person should unless they them self have a legitimate handicap If a person's only handicap is being obese, are you doing them a favor by forcing them to park far away and walking (exercise) to the front of the store? I wouldn't say that I'm doing them a favor, but I wouldn't want someone who is obese to take the handicap spot from someone who actually needs it Is Tourette's syndrome considered a handicap (if your reply is, "No," then... fuck you)? I guess it would depend on how bad the Tourette's is. I actually have the disorder, but its pretty mild and I have it under control. However, if its to the point where it is actually hindering them pretty badly, then yes Is it really a handicap to not be able to flip off a double amputee who is yelling at you for taking the wheel chair access handicap space and forcing him to wait 5 minutes? I don't think so. Like I said earlier, I don't really see missing both your middle fingers as much of a handicap. It could obviously be much worse, but compared to a double amputee, there's not much thats missing This is just my 2 cents 1

Yes there are.... Just like humans are handicapped to know God. Being handicapped is being limited to a priveledge as in ability. If you cannot sing like Adele, you are handicapped. You are less priviledged to sing. There are those who are less piviledged to think. Two types though, wisdom and intelligence. And there are more than five senses(hear, see, feel of material touch, smell, taste)..... Because intuition, dreams, worry(over nothing...just a mere feeling of something wrong) etc are all senses: therefore abilities too. There are various other senses by which God communicates to man. But men are keen on the five primary senses of their body. Intuition, worry, dreams etc are senses of the spirit. God is a spirit and communicates through that channel. Some people's children or parents etc die or go into trouble and they sense that something is wrong before they even get a call for confirmation. Dogs exhibit a lot or most animals. They can sense poison, bad people, and even incoming danger from far distances. They embrace their spiritual senses Yet many people call these senses bullshit anytime they receive a message from that channel. Humans are handicapped or trapped in this body and the soul/spirit is our channel of communication to God. The brain is 1/3 of the spirit and we have achieved good with just 1/3. Most are handicapped and cannot use the rest of the 2/3s. But some people are not handicapped, they use 3/3 and are able to do what people who are handicapped will call supernatural or sorcery. So yes there are levels. When someone uses 3/3 and others use 1/3 there is an obvious level difference. We have indeed fallen short of our capabilities how much more God's glory. We are living deads. 2/3 dead and 1/3 surviving. Yet we try to explain things that are beyond us. Like a blind man trying to paint the sky......he will always paint it thick dark cloudy, because the highest cloud he sees is his eyelid. Handicapped and limited. 1

Is a person who is missing 2 legs more handicap than a person missing 2 middle fingers? Yes. A person missing the middle fingers can still function normally, compared to a person with both legs gone. The latter would need more assistance with day to day life. Can a person missing 2 middle fingers take a handicap parking spot with wheel chair access? Are they only missing the 2 middle fingers? If so, I would say no. Missing two fingers doesn't impair your ability to walk. Is it OK for a handicap person to have to wait, say 5 minutes, for a parking spot or should there already be one waiting for him? Sometimes they are just going to have to wait. If all the handicap spots are taken then, like everyone else, they may have to wait for a spot. They will be able to voice or pen concerns to the business they are having an issue with if parking isn't properly marked or there continuously aren't enough spaces. Is it OK to park in a handicap spot for 5 minutes while you run in and do whatever it is and get out before the cops come to ticket you? No. Assuming you are otherwise physically fit to park in regular spots, being a jackass isn't a handicap. Is it OK to borrow a handicap person's car (and handicap sticker) to get their medication for them and park in the handicap spot? No. See the above answer. If a person's only handicap is being obese, are you doing them a favor by forcing them to park far away and walking (exercise) to the front of the store? Depends. What is the cause of the obesity? Is it just that they choose to sit there and eat chips all day or is there some underlying medical condition? Is Tourette's syndrome considered a handicap (if your reply is, "No," then... fuck you)? It's a syndrome with varying degrees of difficulty including motion tics and vocal tics. Yes, it can be a handicap but it depends on the severity. Is it really a handicap to not be able to flip off a double amputee who is yelling at you for taking the wheel chair access handicap space and forcing him to wait 5 minutes? It is not a handicap, I'm sure they could think of various other ways to portray their anger, other than a double bird salute. |
