Points just tell how many of your arguments were supports or disputes, on varied debates (and your debates), and how much you downvote. All that, on equal weight, in a single number. There's little influence of upvotes too.

For example, maggot has downvoted at least 2500 times, or perhaps less if he uses the Clarify button a lot. Though I wouldn't be surprised.

Joe, on the other hand, uses mainly the Support button and rarely downvotes.

Not like most people even debate, though. Some, like stain, occasionally downvote (even though he said he doesn't care about points) and some are here just for validation (anyone who matches the description on my 2 little debates on the topic) - it is terribly easy to defeat them if they try to argue. Like putting knife through butter.

And there's this Yuri - an obvious name reference, considering that his previous image was Einstein - I doubt there's anyone similarly down on reason, who can't refute anything but just keeps demanding some random notion of explanation (and lying more than frequently and pathetically) and thinks he won.
