Atheists see Communism as their way to attempt to destroy Christianity

Most atheists do not care about any religion, so long as that religion does not impose itself, or any part of itself on them.

Near as I can tell, the only folks who actually want to destroy Christianity are the militant Muslims, and most of them are actually focused on nothing more than everybody being Muslim. Destroying Christianity would merely be a byproduct.

The rest of us would be grateful, however, if Christians would stop trying to convert us, and stop pretending to know things they do not know and cannot prove. Believe whatever you want, but have your faith quietly. Follow your morality without imposing it on anybody else, and keep it out of schools and politics.

That goes for every religion, every race and culture, and all you LGBTXYZ folks, too.

Whatever your identity is, it does not require a parade, or a special pride or history month, and it sure as hell does not need lobbyists.

The following more or less captures the view of religions (as opposed to god) that most atheists seem to hold.

1. Not everyone has one.

2. Not everyone wants one.

3. Most people who have one do not want a different one.

4. Most people do not respect people who have tried out a lot of them.

5. They are only useful for a very limited number of things.

6. It is not okay to display them to people who did not specifically ask.

7. It is not okay to take them out and wave them around in public.

8. Forcing them on people is a clear sign of psychopathic tendencies.

9. Sure, they can be exciting and lots of fun, but that does not mean they should be the center of anybody’s life.

10. They often become more dangerous as they get more popular.

11. They both tend to inhibit sound decision making.

12. Each is a disastrous basis for public policy.

13. If someone says there is something wrong with yours, it behooves you to pay attention to what they are saying.

I'm an atheist and I don't like communism. I have NO reason to want Christianity destroyed, I think it will destroy itself in time do to lack of any factual evidence of its "god". However I have NO wish to destroy a belief that many need ... whether it be Christian or Muslim or whatever. Believe what you wish and let me believe what I wish

Christian, Muslim, Jew, Atheist, whatever ... we should ALL fight communism!

This is probably going to blow your mind on a few levels, but I'm an Atheist, and a capitalist, and a gun nut of absurd proportions, who intends to open a gun store upon leaving the military and getting a business degree.

Also, I genuinely do not care if you're a Christian. I'm married to one, happily. If you believe in a god, that is entirely your problem. All I ask is that you keep it that way, and I have no trouble cracking open a beer with you.

Consider that your stereotypical views of Atheists are a bit flawed.
