First off i just wanna say that I do not like either of these two. But because of the question I would have to say Batman because Superman is cheap. He is just way too powerful. Come on he can fly and run really fast, whats the point. If he could run so fast why doesn't he just fast and over water where ever he goes. He doesn't need both. He is just too god like too. He has heat vision, ice breath, and gusty breath. Thats too much. He needs to just stick to one element. And then theres the fact that he is pretty much invincible. Thats just too much for one super hero. Side: Batman

Copy and paste from an old debate, one of my first posts actually: Batman sacrificed his normal life so that he could save Gotham City from crime. Superman was born into his powers, if he had had a choice he would have chosen to be normal. Batman made a choice, Superman didn't really have one. Side: Batman
Yeah I'll admit, some of the more serious batman works are actually pretty gripping and get deep into the man's psychology. Choosing to throw your life away so you can be the guardian of a city and forsake your own life is a righteous sacrifice. Too bad he's fake. ): Side: Batman
Superman never decided to be a superhero he just was born into it. He doesn't even want to be a hero he wants to be a regular human. Batman on the other hand has trained with ninjas been shot and beaten all to hell but he always prevails and not with super power but with skill. Side: Batman

Batman always keeps his eye on Superman, always. Not to mention that when superman goes to you know, punch him he can just... I dunno, move? Batman deals with pricks on the superman level regularly and he's just a rich guy in a funky looking suit with high powered weaponry. Batman was also trained by Ninjas. As far as superman goes, he has little to no training besides, "Me hit. You die." Superman wouldn't be able to touch Batman in a fair fight. Plus, Batman has a higher pain tolerance than Superman. The bastard's been impaled and shot to hell, not to mention ripped to shreds by a mutant alligator man and he just... keeps on truckin'. Admittedly, superman usually just bends anything that tries to impale him but... Throw a glob of kryptonite at superman and he turns into a baby. Plus, he's the goddamn batman. Side: Batman

Lol warlin , you are so off . Superman is so fast batman couldn't dodge his punch . Batman wouldn't be able to dodge in a fair fight . Superman can draw infinite power from the sun . Key word infinite . And batman has never fought anyone on superman's level except for superman . And superman won . Superman has won every time he fought batman . Yeah but thats so boring, Batman has to get creative, which makes a better plot. He has more struggles which is far more entertaining to watch. And all batman has to do to beat superman is get a hold of some kryptonite. Batman could outsmart superman, I'm sure he's got some kriptonite stored away in the batcave, just in case. And batman is a ninja so I doubt superman would be able to find him very easily. Side: Batman

Superman is unique. He is an alien who is "allergic" to his radioactive home planet. And he, unlike any other mainstream superhero that I know, disguises himself as a civilian and truly becomes himself as a superhero. Most heroes put on disguises to fight crime, but not Superman! And he's got awesome super powers. Side: Superman

Wow , superman can kill batman anytime , anywhere . This is absurd . Batman has never , and I mean never , beat Superman in a CANON comic . For those you who don't know kryptonite can only kill superman if he is exposed to it long enough , even when batman used the kryptonite on superman in the comics it only weakened him . Superman was still fighting despite the kryptonite , because it only weakens him unless he is exposed long enough . Superman beat batman up . And he was holding back because batman is his friend . Superman moved planets , he would literally one shot batman . Batman fought Superman once and batman said if he had kept fighting he would have broken his hands . Superman is too strong and durable to lose to batman . I don't care if his infinite power from the sun is a cheap power . I think it's cheap to , but regardless of how stupid it is , it makes him one of the , if the not the best , superhero ever . And this coming from a batman fanboy . Seriously people open your eyes and realize batman is not invincible just because he is a badass human . If anything that makes him the opposite . Side: Superman
